Here is how we stay good and avoid lottery hell. We Trade JRich for a Pick and a good back up player, position doesn't matter. Take on a longer contract. We keep Gentry and run SSOS with Amare.
Nash/Curry
LB/Dragic(not a point)
Barnes/JRich trade (pick or trade guy)
Stat/Lou/Stro
Shaq/Lopez
Trade Nash in Feb at deadline for picks, expiring and young depth. Start
Curry (he spent 6 mos. under Nash, Can be a Nash offensivley)
LB (I just love him)
Barnes
Stat
Shaq
Let Shaq expire with other contracts from the Nash Trade. Sign a FA, pray Lopez developes or sign a C in FAgency.
2010
Team
Curry 22
LB 27
SF (Draft pick or FA)
Stat 27
Lopez 22(or FA or trade or draft pick, maybe he developes. He has the size and ability.)

How come this couldn't go in the Offseason Thread?
Curry...I don't know if he'd fit here...seriously, does ANYONE have any idea who's staying and who's going here? We're a joke of a franchise at the moment...

May bad. I go there. The Suns are fine... The problem is we have so many options, we don't know what to do.
Curry will play point. He sounds like Nash to me. With better Defense!
SouDraft Projection: Lottery
Notes: Curry's father, Dell, played in the NBA. His brother, Seth, plays college ball at Liberty.
Positives:
Curry brings a good hoops pedigree to the court.
(Willis Glassgow/US Presswire)
One of the best scorers in the country
Amazing shooter with deep, deep range
Excellent at putting the ball on the floor and drawing fouls
Deadeye from the foul line
Good rebounder for his size
Excellent basketball IQ, solid passer
Clutch scorer
Picks up steals
Negatives:
A tweener
Lacks size at his natural position
Needs to add strength, slight frame
Just a decent athlete
Not particularly quick or explosive

In the NBA, Curry will be basically be a Barbosa with higher upside potential.

I don't know if Curry has all that much upside... he already is a very composed player, with good all around skills to go with his anywhere sniper sites. His knocks are his size and the competition level he has seen. he sure has had the hype. Put Jack McClinton in the SoCon and he goes for 30+ per as well.
one thing is certain, he is no Nash.
Further more, this idea of just trading JRich .... that may be harder than imagined.
PS....Fear the turtle

--- Yes ... between contract and performance, why would anyone do this? I was in favour of the trade but damn, it don't look so good now.
JRich is just not reliable enough as a pure scorer and he really doesn't bring much else
PS....Fear the turtle

--- OK, why do we fear a Grateful Dead graphic?
