SUNS best offense in the NBA??

Post#1 » by realsunsfan » Fri Mar 20, 2009 2:20 pm

Although we have had our defensive issues, I think we have the best offense in the NBA, and have had it for a few seasons now. This year, especially since the A/S break, we have been able to put up unreal numbers, everything from total points,to points in the paint, rebounding, assists (total, not just Nash) it's really been quite amazing what this team can do, just imagine what we would be doing with a healthy Amare. This year is the first year we are actually seeing our bench really contribute, now I know we have always had 1 or 2 guys from the bench contributing, but this year since Gentry took over, we are seeing up to an 11 man rotation that is being effective. In the last few games Gentry has been playing Shaq with the bench guys Barbosa,Dragic,Dudley, Tucker and Lopez at times, and they have been effective offensively by going through Shaq. If that continues to work, that will dramatically decrease the drop off we have when Nash rests.

Don't want to get to long winded here so, what do you guys think, do the Suns have the best offense in the NBA ?

With Amare, yes. Without him, go to hell. Pick n Roll is the Suns strength and they don't have no one to do that with now that Amares out. They try to doing it to Shaq but Nash never throws him any alley oops! You think Shaq can catch a bounce pass down the middle and finish like STAT? No, throw him an oop like CP would!

Even without Amare the Suns have the best offense.

yeah you can say that. only if he had some sort of Defensive scheme that we can execute like we do in offense. but we don't so we just have to out score our opponents to win games.

Actually, that's no longer correct, the last few games we have been getting the defensive stops we need during the 4th qtr..................
