This announcer is REAL stupid talking about how we're not in the playoffs because of a lack of D.

So the saying goes. Hey IDIOTS, the reason we're NOT in the playoffs is BECAUSE of D. We TRIED kidding ourselves about the D, brought in an idiot "defensive" coach, and suffered to a 28-23 record, digging us a whole we couldn't get out of. Then we get the breath of fresh air with Gentry, we don't trade Shaq or Amare, everything is going along fine, then bam, Amare gets hurt for the year. Then Barbosa gets hurt.

It's not about excuses, it's about this preconceived notion about defense. We are where we are because of defense. Not a LACK of it, but because we conformed to the notion that our offensive powerhouse just NEEDS to be a strict defensive team, and it failed miserably.

Thanks goes to the media and journalists, idiot fans and people across the board who bought into the defensive hype, and Steve Kerr who brought on Terry Porter.

we´re not in the playoffs cause we can´t hold leads. we´re not able to outplay an opponent with our defense. that´s it.
