should win this one. kinda pathetic that the starters had to pun in about 30 mins in this one compared to the 20 they were going in the last couple games. haha

well man the Griz have played alot of close games and tonight was no exception. and their starters played practically the whole game. I know we are not in the playoffs, but still you wanna give a good effort and win it for the home fans. I didn't see a problem playing the starters that many minutes, gotta do what it takes to win even when we are not in a playoff race. Lopez & Dragic played good minutes for us tonight.

Now I'm not 1000% certain that this is exactly what happened because I had to watch the game on mute to appease the sleeping gf, but in the first half, Grant Hill went in for a layup on the "fake timeout" play and got fouled and I was elated! I have always thought that play would work perfectly because players assume the TO is getting called and start walking to their bench before the ballhandler is at halfcourt...we got an easy layup off of it, and it made the other team look ridiculous. What were the announcers saying as it happened? I can't believe teams don't try things like this more often...

I, too, had to sacrifice the game to the GF as we had her kids over for Easter dinner. And when I did sneak out to watch it the atdhe feed was frozen ...

See you wednesday night ...

Kinda hard to be upbeat when the win or loss is meaningless for both teams. Plus the Nash thing on the horizon signaling impending doom.
