Steve Nash
It was announced during a timeout against the Golden State Warriors in the fourth quarter of last nights game, Wednesday, April 15th, 2009, in Phoenix, AZ that Phoenix Suns guard Steve Nash became the first player in NBA History to record 50% from the field, 40% from beyond the arc and 90% from the charity stripe over three seasons.

Grant Hill
Grant Hill capped off a playoff-less season on a high note Wednesday night in Phoenix. Employing his vintage, ankle-breaking crossover at one point to score two on his way to 27, Grant hill accomplished something else of note. For the first time in his NBA career, Grant Hill played in all 82 games. In the final year of his veteran-minimum contract, Hill spoke positively about his teammates and his continued interest in playing for the Suns under Alvin Gentry next season.

Congrats to both of them!

Yea for sure...I just hope they both stick around, both are just great guys to have in a franchise on and off the court.

Hill was great this year, glad to see while injury may have taken some of his best years, he's one of the best 38yr olds the league has ever seen.

"It's the minutes, not the years!"

2 great observations. It was an unbelieable season for Hill, so glad he's in our team he means so much to this team and community. And Nash, well Nash is Nash what can we say about the guy, one of the best all time. The best thing about this is that both have expressed their desire to remain in PHX.

We could sure use some of that court IQ and vet guidance in Portland. I'd trade Blake, Bayless, and Outlaw for them and a pick swap in a second.

It would save you guys money, give you two nice scorers with high ceilings, and youthen the suns up a bit. We'd get an immediate shot at rings and huge jump in court IQ, but we'd also add a lot of age. The pick would help.

Nash(24)/Rudy(24)
Roy(34)/Sergio(14)
Batum(16)/Webster(16)/Hill(16)
Aldridge(34)/Kurt Thomas?(14)
Oden(24)/Pryzbilla(24)

I trust that team's IQ and experience a lot more than ours now. Log jam at SF but that's okay, Batum's a second year guy, Webster's coming off a full year injury, and Hill's old so it'd be fine.

We could bring in a draft pick (Steph Curry?), and bring over Koponen and Freeland and be pretty set I think. However, Outlaw's the popular guy on the team so I'm not sure KP would want to trade him.

Hill isn't leaving Phoenix.
