What would you want for Barbosa?

I think hes a prime target for BC apparently he mentioned it on our board there was a article about it. He fits into a running style and would be a good addition to the raptors. BC guy, fits into running can play PG/SG and is a high character player.
So my question to you is outside of Bosh/Bargnani/Jose/Marion what would you want for Barbosa. We can work a deal around your pick im going to throw out an idea and you guys can make variations or just say you dont like it
Raptors Trade:
Kapono
Rights to Derozan
3 million Cash
Suns Trade:
Barbosa
Rights to Terrence Williams
THats a realistic deal because its small not 4/5 players involved from the raptors going to the suns to make salaries match. Kapono would get better looks in Phoenix and Derozan is a young SF that replaces Hill and would be amazing with Nash.
OR
Raptors Trade:
Hump
O'Byrant
Jawai
Roko
Rights to Derozan
Suns Trade:
Barbosa
Rights to Terrence Williams
or any variation you guys could come up with im just curious what it would take if you dont want to do it i understand, thanks a lot.

No thanks, Kapono doesn't help us at all. Neither are any of those guys in the 2nd trade, except for maybe Roko. Since Parker is expiring, would you like JRich?
I didn't think Trix would be a Raptor after this off-season. He said he wants to play for a winner, and no offense, Raptors don't seem to be a team he wants to play for.

First off, be careful making trades based off of assumed draft picks.
Second off, Barbosa is a great value at his contract. It would take more than Kopono + Cash and a bump in draft slotting to net a strong 6th man (starter on the Raps).
I know guys here have expressed interest in a Parker S&T. Could be something there, but not much. You have to give to get.

Bargnani/Jose/Marion would be the only guys I'd want for Barbosa, so I guess no deal then lol

Well if you want to do jose+filler+pick+cash for Nash+barbosa+pick. Nash has expressed interest in Toronto and triano most importantly

Wouldn't really make any sense for us, since both Barbosa and Nash are better than Jose, and Nash is an expiring so we don't really need to move him for monetary reasons.

I'd do it for Kapono + Derozan + 2nd.

No thanks, we'll keep him.
Zero reason to trade him, regardless of giving it another try or rebuilding.
Might I tempt you with a certain Robin Lopez though?

Trading Barbosa would be a huge mistake.

barbosa is a valuble player to this team. He is one of the better scoring 6th man in the league. However, he drives me nutts becuase he has not bball IQ and can't do anything without the ball in his hands. I would take Kapono if we could get DeRozen. Kaponon gives us another 3pt threat that we have been missing for a while. DeRozen has a lot of potential and I would take the chance on bringing him in. However, Im not sure I give you our pick tho. We need that I think.

Shotchucker? He is shooting 48% from the field and has a True Shooting % of 58.8, not to mention a 19.4 PER.
He is playing point more than he ever did and made radical improvements to his floor vision and IQ this season.
Oh, and his mother recently passed away. His peformance took an inevitable hit this season because of it and he still was one of the most valuable players on this team.

Mike Miller will be by only option to even consider trading the former 6th man of the year. I expect Barbosa to be mentally ready to explode next season. This season was a difficult season for him with the death of his mother and injuries. He should bounce back.

Why would we trade Barbosa? It's not like he's overpaid or wants out or anything. In fact, given his contract and production, he should be the last guy we consider trading for salary purposes.

In my eyes, Barbosa is untradable. He is instant offense off the bench. Every team needs a player like that.
