Ash Reporting Suns Done w/ Trades (For Now)

The Suns have told me that they are probably done moving players for now, but I guarantee they move some draft picks later Thursday. They now have 3 second round picks and will use one or more to try and trade up to get a guy they want most likely at the end of the first round or early second round.
I know they really have their eye on Taj Gibson from USC.
As far as the 14th pick, I don't think they have their mind made up yet on who they will pick. I think they are hoping one of their guys falls to them at 14. Or I could see them moving this pick as well if their guy is not there!

Terrible news if true. We need Chandler. Lopez was awful, and he's not going to improve much (too mechanical, bad hands, neither of which generally improve much) Amundson is 12th man material. Lots of energy, no skills, poor basketball IQ (always out of position, bad passes, no dribbling skills, no shooting ability, awful free throw shooter).
The only good news is that we'll only have to watch Lopez for 18 minutes a game or so because that's all it will take for him to foul out.

^ Relax.... the article says "FOR NOW". I'm sure we will get another big before the season starts.

If they want to do a swap of both Wallace and Chandler without any other player, they have to wait July 1st, the deal doesn't work until this date (Wallace is still making more than 125% of Chandler salary + $100k), so maybe that's why they said they are done with trade for the next days.

Not quite...there is a rumor of Tmac/Brooks/Landry for Amare/Barbosa...has anyone else heard this?

Actually, Asher was discussing that yesterday -- said it's 1000% false.

The houston report is false. I told you that we are getting Chandler but i didnt say today did i? just relax it will get done.Also expect a trade with the picks, the suns want to move up to the end of the first, early second(which i also told you yesterday). The pick obtained from CLE is for a bigger scale move.
Also, Chase Budinger is a good player.

If you move Wallace for Chandler it has to be done by tomorrow under league rules.

Can't believe we drafted Alando Tucker instead of Aaron Brooks, maybe we could trade the highly 'overrated' L.B. for Brooks but i doubt Houston would do that

It was reported we actually wanted Brooks when we took Rudy for Portland. We decided to wait for the 29th pick, and he got snatched up by Houston before.
