Its mind boggling how bad our front office is
It isn't just Kerr (while hes def one of the biggest idiots there), its also Sarver, the scouts, etc. Robin Lopez over Mareese Speights last year? Some foreign dude that probably never play an NBA game over a backup PG? Earl Clark over Jrue Holiday and Ty Lawson? Do they not realize we have 3 SFs already?

If STAT is gone, Nash is gone. And if Nash is gone, Hill is gone. So no more Hill. Barnes is a unrestricted FA and will command more $$$ then Sarver is willing to spend. So in reality, we have 1 SF (Dudley) currently.

if nash leaves, then we'll have goran freaking dragic starting at pg. seriously, i liked what he did under gentry but if you think having dragic at pg is better than having dudley at sf, then you're crazy. we can pick up some generic SF in free agency for cheap, and we have j-rich who can play sf. ty lawson and jrue holiday are actual PGs capable of giving quality minutes behind nash or starting.

I'm most annoyed at the fact that we didn't take Mills when he was available at #48.

I think it stems from the general dislike for sarver among the owners
His brash giddiy chicken flapping foam fingering reign his first couple of yrs coupled with the ousting of the Colonjellos and D'Ant has made him a target to screw whenever a chance arises.
It didn't help any when he bent over and accommodated them in his efforts to 'get rich quick' .
His run is over as the rest of the league silently chuckles at his demise.

We could pick up FA Ramone Sessions. Rumor has it the Bucks are looking to go into another direction. Sessions can also be had for cheap. We could also use the $$ save from Pav/Wallace on a SF FA like Ariza or Artest. Not to mention trading Nash (preferibly to NY) could result in the return of a SF (Wilson Chandler). Other players will be traded and all the spots will be filled, so i highly doubt Dudley will be our starting SF, unless we somehow find a way to get our pick back from OKC and start to bomb to get a high pick (John Wall).

ariza and artest arent leaving their teams to come to a rebuilding team with terrible front office. i would've preferred us to trade nash for whatever, amare for that GS deal, and draft Holiday for:
holiday
curry
dudley
wright
biedrins
young, and they will develop together. do they look like a playoff contender? hell no. but they would eventually become a good team because they'd grow together. this is what the thunder and the blazers have done.

we overpaid for dragic though, we paid for his buyout and all that. if they wanted a backup PG there were much better options available. you don't have your backup PG for a 2 time MVP be an inexperienced rookie from overseas

clark is a nice player, but he's gonna lose focus during games and be inconsistent. there's no killer instinct there. we already have 2 guys who do that on a regular basis (amare and jrich), why get another one?

Re: Its mind boggling how bad our front office is
May as well repost what I put in another thread:
The problem is our clueless FO couldn't decide between total rebuild/fire sale or make another run next year. They should have just committed one way or the other and stuck with it no matter what.
Now we are in a bit of a "six of one, half a dozen of the other" situation. Not a contender next year, maybe not even a playoff team and even we get our first rounder back, we're not so terrible that we could count on a top 5 pick.
With the current roster we might scrape into the playoffs but not get very far and if Nash & Amare go we will probably finish with a 30-52 record and pick outside of the top 5.
We are just kind of stuck in limbo. Not good enough to be really good and not bad enough to be really bad.
