The "Please Don't Trade Dragic" Thread

Post#1 » by BVPN » Sun Jun 28, 2009 6:24 pm

Seriously, this is the one guy I am most excited to watch for next season...please please please don't include him as a throw-in in any trade packages Kerr! (In fact this Curry trade bothers me somewhat because it would eat Dragic's minutes). Dragic has to be a Sun for life. I want to see his jersey up in the rafters of UA Arena someday...

I think with all the handles he possesses he isn't going anywhere just yet. Much to yet be uncovered.

His trade value is lower than Lopez's due to his contract so I really doubt he'll be moved or that any team is looking to aquire him. Suns can only hope he builds on the way he finished the season.

I didn't even think this was a remote possibility. Are people really concerned with a guy teeter-tottering the BUST-SERVICEABLE line with a silly contract being pursued by another team?

Get rid of him. Its tragic how bad dragic is. No way he was the 2nd best point guard behind Rose in the draft. It just goes to show the ineptitude of the FO

Dragic blows. He'll never be anything in the NBA.

I think Kerr would be too arrogant to trade him. He gave away our picks + KT's expiring contract to cut cap space. Then took the money saved to buyout Dragic and bring him over here. Not that Kerr doesn't look like a buffoon already, but it's hard for GMs to admit they're wrong.

I'm looking foward to see how much more Goran has developed as well. The two hardest positions in the NBA to fill coming from college is a point guard and a center. That's the positions that we drafted last year. Also, being under Terry Porter didn't help either. One thing for sure is that we saw much improvements from Robin and Goran at the end of the season.

There was a couple of plays where yoù saw the potentiol that both players had in the past season. Are they going to be great player? Nope but they are going to be servicable player. Goran can defend and Robin has the potential to be a Tyson Chandler type of player. I see a little of Manu Gonobili in Goran especially being left handed. I'm not comparing them to Tyson or Manu but have similor skill sets.

All in all, are they stars? No, but they are good compliments to star players like Amare and Steve Nash.

Sure why not, if Dragic can be the Suns starting pg in the 2011-12 season they have a good chance to tank for Kevin Gilchrist. The Suns still have their 2012 pick so they have a good chance...

No I am not Dragic, but I think he can be 6th man of the year if he improves his shooting a bit!

Dragic showed great improvement with the coach swap. Im sure he has a couple more years with the suns to show what he can do.
