To start off

Do most of you consider yourself, liberal, moderate or conservative?

Also who did you vote for in the 2008 election, if you didn't vote tell us who you wanted to win

Also feel free to discuss anything else related to politics

Liberal here and voted for Ralph Nader

Doubt politics are allowed here, but I'm a conservative and wanted Mitt Romney to win.

Conservative and am crossing my fingers that Newt Gingrich runs!

Obama and the Dems are killing this country and soon will kill their party for the next 25 years. It's Jimmy Carter all over again.

This is probable not the best forum for this because many use sports to get away from all the crap that is going on in this world and that includes politics. First off, I am very disgusted with the way both parties have acted and have lead this country in disarray. There are pros and cons, but I feel it is just getting worse.

I did not vote for Obama and felt there was more to this man than just hope and change and a good speech. I was at ASU when he game and listened. I was in Denver when the DNC happened and listened. I feel I am very open to any idea and usually swing to the conservative side on many issues, but same goes liberal too. So I proclaim myself as a moderate and vote on the issues not the party. I vote for who I feel is the best and can do the best for the people. I wanted Romney because he was the only one I felt that had best experience to lead this country out of this economic disaster than Obama or McCain. That did not happen and I fear the consequences of this past election upon the American People. I have supported a small few agendas of Obamas, but have felt that they have been force feeding us and have shoved liberal agenda after agenda down our thoughts without any debate or real time to get the facts out to the people. By the way, who is going to read a few hundred pages and vote on it in the same day? Ridiculous and politics that drives me insane.

Sorry for going off like that, but that is not even the tip of the ice berg. I love sports, but this forum and watching it is a place I can get away and not think of this type of stuff.

This most likely will get heated quickly but it shouldn't. I find that there are generally good people on both sides who want the best for their country. Unfortunately the politicians who they are given the option to vote for usually don't.

I'm incredibly liberal. I believe in freedom of adults to make their own choices be they gay, midgets, whatever.

I'll vote for whoever decriminalizes 420.

I never vote for candidates who incorporate religion into their campaign platforms.

Most candidates do incorporate it on the Conservative side. Some more than others. I hate faith based initiatives. Faith is blindly believing. I want my government to do nothing blindy. Back it up with facts and ethics.

There are very few candidates that appeal to me.

My "political compass" dot aligns exactly with Ralph Nader's.

Make of that what you will.

My social views are Liberal. But when it comes to economy I lean slightly more to the conservative side. Especially when it comes to the Bailouts, i'm definitely opposed to the government's interference.

Conservative, Fred Thompson. Want Sanford to run in 2012, but in light of the scandal probably not happening instead maybe Fred again or Mike Pence or Jindal
