Lamar Odom?

Okay I am getting very impatient with the Suns team. Nothing is happening and we are just losing people and not really getting anything in return.
So is there anyway the Suns could get Odom?

Are you going to start a thread for EVERY FA that might fit here?
I'd love Odom here, but he'd only fit if we moved Amare for those spare pieces and he started next to Odom. I'd rather wait and go all out trying to get an elite level guy next year

Sorry about mul threads BUT we wait for next year? What do we do this year? We have no first round pick. SO even if we suck we are still screwed

I have ZERO idea what Kerr's thinking right now. Possibly panic, possibly resignation. Who knows...
I think they take the GS deal and acquire essentially a 23yr old defensive C for 5 years at under $10m, a guy who would have been top 5 THIS year if he'd stayed in college in Wright, probably another guy who'd have been lottery this year in Bellinelli, and maybe a Raja type SG in Az. just my thinking

shouldn´t we have a sticky fa thread? every name could be discussed in one thread. would be much easier for everyone in here...

well, btw it would be a good deal getting four players back for stat. realy good. curry would be unbelievable. give us wright, biedrins, az and nelly. and i would be satisfied with this trade..

Biedrins is only player worth anything in it. Which is why it needs something else. Wright's "potential" is not enough, and we'll end up getting Belinelli, not both or Az.

On the other site, IHG said Frye/Suns reached a verbal agreement few days ago, but nothing's come out about that. All that's been said is we're interested.

We probably have a verbal with Frye.... and he had one or two more suitors to talk to for a better situation. Who wouldn't shop around a bit, Wildkitty ties or not.
PS... and Portland is making a play for Odom ? That would be a good pick up for them.

If a team get Odom for the MLE that is a bargain. With Odom's ability to post-up smaller players our offense would look similar (but better) to when Diaw/Nash ran the PnR. Kind of agree with TASTIC tho I'm not sure how he would go playing with Amare.
Makes me think tho, if we had a Chandler/Odom frontcourt that would certainly bring some O/D balance to our frontcourt. We would just have to keep both of them on the court!

Financially, I don't see how the team can get both Odom and Chandler - even if Lamar took the MLE. I think the Suns would need to buyout Wallace and then sign Odom. Or just sign Chandler.
