Sorry for making a new thread, I'm tired of hearing this guy on KTAR. Seriously. He has to be the most misinformed, stone-called BS'er I've ever heard on the air.

First off the Marion to PHX situation was never a possibility ...........not from the $$$ perspective....... and not from the ego perspective. It made little sense given why he left in the first place and who our owner is. It would've looked ridiculous in piecing together basically the team we "used to have" ......

He was also on the air around 5:15pm claiming that his "sources" were telling him the Marion-to-Dallas multi-team deal had "blown up" and Marion balking at a mid-level exception. Well Gambo you dud, it went thru alright and the guy copped $8 million per which is more than the mid-level.

This guy sells BS rumors for the Suns as if to make the fans feel like they're a part of the second season - trades and free agency. He has little to no credibility as far as I'm concerned. He's a hack of a broadcaster and simply got his job because he has that stereotypical NY accent and attitude.

I think Gambo clearly has sources with the Suns.....The sad thing is I am sure someone from the Suns said something about Marion but the Front office is in such shambles that I am guessing no one is on the same page........ Ash felt so strongly that "where their is smoke their is fire" on the GS trade and nothing is going on there either.

The Suns no longer have relevance.... It is so sad..... How could the good ole days go so fast. We can't compete with LA, Spurs, Dallas or Denver..... I think we can take the Clippers, though.

Does anyone know if the Suns have a direction?

GAmbo sure does have a source - not sure - but wouldn't be surprised if it weren't Sarver. Some of the stuff that guy comes up with though - pure garbage.

But back to the main topic at hand, I can't really comment on Gambo's accuracy with sources, but I can say that the pessimistic and inconsistent opinions of he, Ash and Burns have long driven me crazy. I've basically quit listening to KTAR because of them. Jon Bloom's the only one I enjoy on that station, but I'm not even sure if he's around anymore.

Gambo's not that bad, he said the Suns were interested in Marion which was true... He thinks we should blow it up which is why some Suns' fans hate him, which makes no sense. He gets paid for his opinion, is the Marion to Dallas a done-deal? I did hear him say today that the trade night blow up

I don't take issue at him for giving his opinion -- although his pessimism rubs me the wrong way, that's his prerogative -- I take issue for flip-flopping on his opinions
