8 mil per year is a bit much, but good for Shawn

ya cant blame the suns for not payin him 8 mill a year.....but the suns need to do something, cuz there not gonna be able to keep amare or nash past 2010 if they dont, which means no one would even want to come here as a FA witout one of them here

I bet BC did this to try and screw over the Suns...He's still bitter about being fired. I'm no Sarver fan but think about it, what other reason would he have for doing that sign and trade? He doesn't get anything out of it and all it does is help a Suns rival...

BC had to unload the rights of shawn and a couple other players to make the Hedo signing possible. this deal would've been done alot earlier except the raptors were reluctant to take on stackhouse contract or any contract pass 2010

Shawn Marion is a washed up player he is no longer the player he once was even playing with Jason kidd and his attiude won't be any different . I am glad we didn't try to get him and before I go nuts over the Suns not doing anything yet wbat exactly is their direction they can't possibly think that the fasn are just going to buy season tickets without knowing exactly what they are doing ! I think its time to increase the heat on the Suns front off
ice.

BLOW THIS MOTHER UP!!!

By this I mean, trade Steve Nash to NY for Duhon and Al Harrington( exp 9 mil)

Trade Amare to the Bulls for Kirk Hinrinch, Tyrus Thomas and James Johnson.

Sign Wilcox for a 2 year 10 mil

See if there's any takers for Jason Richardson or just keep him.

New Lineup:
Kirk/Duhon/Goran
Richardson/Barbosa
TyThomas/Dudley/Johnson
Harrington/Lou/Clark
Wilcox/Lopes/Harrington

RUN LIKE HELL!!

The Raptors retain their full use of the MLE by doing this deal as a S&T.

At least w/ Kidd and Marion the Mavs might be worth watching every once in a while for actual on-court game entertainment purposes now...

It makes me sick to think about how much further the Suns are being pushed from the top 8 playoff teams in the West.

Next season is a 30-52 season, for sure.
The Phoenix Suns - 54-28. Projected Record: 54-28 3rd Seed

The Phoenix Suns - 2010-2011 Projected Record: 30-52 3rd lottery pick.

I taught watching the suns obliviate would be fun to watch, but its not i have pity for y'all but in a few years you'll be better than us when all of our good players have retired and ya'll are still young.

Very frustrating but this is what happens when you give stupid money to guys like Boris Diaw for one year of good play and even stupider money to Marcus Banks when he had been with three teams at the time and nobody was giving him anything, let alone $21m over 5 years and this is what happens when you give up draft picks with guaranteed contracts for 4 years and don't have contracts that people want.

Sarver jacked this all up - he wanted to spend one day and then the next day, he did something on the cheap. Either he had to go all in or play a more conservative fiscal philosophy. As the Suns are stuck in cap hell and really can't go b**ls to the wall like a Cuban can and will or play it under the luxury tax where they can make moves to help their team basketball wise.

I am still hopeful the Wallace contract can be used for a good player under the %rule of taking back contracts and not just buying out to save a few million dollars

Uh Mary, BC LEFT because he got a great contract offer from Toronto and Sarver said he would not negotate during the middle of the season and his contract was not up.

Marion was hooked up by BC and this guy is all about the money. Im not impressed with their team and think they are a playoff team, but will not get past the 2nd rd.
