Now this is what I like to see. I'm still interested in what they are doing with Amar'e. Hopefully this means the OK pick won't be a lottery as originally feared.

Not too sure how I feel about Frye. I played against him in high school. He blocked my shot, needless to say. Hopefully he can continue to do that and more. There is light at the end of the tunnel.

Everyone's expectations of frye are grossly disproportionate to what he will used for.

He will average 15 mins and be fighting Sweet Lou for playtime and making Lopez and Clark better by forcing them to improve or stay benched. He will be Amare's foul trouble insurance. It will be just fine.

Well I'm happy that the Suns are going to try and keep winning, but they definately need another part to even think about contending.

Then again SSOL only had 5-6 players that could play and those were good times.

Nash / Goran
J-Rich / Barbosa
Hill / Dudley
Amare / Clark
Frye / Amundson / Lopez

I too see Frye is a stop gap kind of player. He can hit the outside shot so he'll fit in SSOL, but he can't do much else. I guess if Clark is a decent player right off the bat this team could be good.

I just pray for even ONE move to make me feel better about the C spot.

I already had great respect for Grant Hill but now I think I really love him. He just declined a bigger offer (NY) and a championship opportunity (Boston) for us, gotta love that. Thanks Grant. You deserve better than this organization of cheap (Sarver) and stupids (Kerss) but we, as fans, appreciate you. I really hope we can give him the ring he deserves.

Nash at 3 yrs 33 million!!! I would prefer 3 years 24 million, but it is better than 3 years 45 million. Now lets get Amare signed long term.

Barring any injuries, this team should be good enough to make playoffs and possibly put up a fight.

It is good to finally get a little bit of good news in the offseason... it has been a brutal couple of weeks on the Suns front.

I'm curious what size contract we gave Hill. I assume the reports about him strongly considering Boston and New York were true... if that is the case, why would he have chosen Phoenix?

He would seem to have had a better chance of winning in Boston (though less PT)... and I wouldn't imagine that we would have paid a lot more than either of the rumored contracts that New York offered. Plus, there was that article about GH's wife preferring New York.

It is a scary prospect that we are looking at basically the same non-playoff team as last year minus Shaq and Barnes plus Frye and Clark. I guess we'll also be adding a healthy Amare, hopefully.

Still wondering what we are going to do with Big Ben and Pavs...

We still need a healthy Chandler to compete with the West. If not then Wallace will be our starting C, not Frye. Unless he retires, in which case we are still boned at the C position. But i'm really digging the Hill and Frye signing. If we somehow get Chandler then we need to get another C that is better then RoLo and we'll be a decent ball club again.

At least we get some good news this offseason. I'm not too high on Frye but Hill is a a hell of a player still. Glad to see we're not going to rebuild in a year we don't have our 1st rounder

Barnes hurt us more than he helped us, Clark will more than fill in for him. We will miss Shaq and his interior defense, but I think we can make up his 8rebs a gm and PnRoll defense. Plus NO has gotten worse, along with Hou. No Yao and Artest.

For all of those fans sitting an a tub full of water....just about to drop the plugged up toaster in, a reprieve. Love that hill is back, might be a little high for nash, but 14 to 15 was a hell no, and fry is a good fit, just like someone else mentioned, he is a pick and pop guy, with some lenght, can run with us, and is a high character guy, can do the things K Thomas did for us, but not as good defensivly. So are we done with new guys, or is a Stro Smith, or Wilcox signing possible too,

I'll be happy if I see Earl Clark on the court for 20 minutes a night.
