lol...beat me to the punch. I have liked his defense from the PG position for a long-time. I think he would be a great backup to Steve if we could get him once he clears wavers. He can run a team, he has been frustrated with how little winning his teams have done. PHX could work well for him.

Nash, Barbosa and Dragic can deal with the point just fine.

dragic doesn't suck.. he showed potential last year and needs to get more confidence..
but hm, watson would be a nice back up to be honest..

i think kerr wants dragic to be the backup tho.... so i doubt we sign any pg.

He is going to go to whoever gives him the best combo of cash and play time. Phoenix will be last on both lists.

Move along.

Would rather have Von Wafer but if they can get Watson for the minimum sure

I'd rather have you play PG than Barbosa, Gambo said Suns were looking to add another point G if Dragic continues to struggle

I'd rather have Watson over Wafer.
I'd also rather have Dragic be our backup, but come playoff time I think we might need a more experienced backup PG. Also, I believe Earl Watson is left-handed, its good to have a mixture of lefty's and righty's.
He has solid defense too. Another plus.

Dragic looks like a pre-schooler dribbling the ball. Get Watson!!

Ok, so Dragic did ok at the end of the season, but please, he is not even close to what Earl is as a PG. Plus, many have said the suns might look at a PG in the draft (Curry) or in FA. they are not sold on Tragic as our backup for now. His struggles in the summer league say a lot about how shaky his game and confidence is.

The kid needs time and if we want to win, you have to bring in a solid PG. Suns cannot give watspm the money, but can give him time. But really, not many teams can outside of Portland. Bring him in for a 2 year deal with a player option. Shot, I would love to bring almost anyone in than have Barbs play backup point or Tragic.

If you can bring him in for the right price, do it.

Pick him up! He's solid and defensively sound. Besides, Dragic needs some competition to earn that backup spot. I like him but he's not ready yet.

No way. Marquis Daniels won't get any playing time over there.
He should go elsewhere. Plus I thought they spent all their money on Rasheed Wallace.

From the look of this candid photo likely getting Sarver's character to level 200 in world of warcraft so he can sell it for money.
