Jul 20, 2009 12:49 PM EST
The Chicago Bulls announced on Monday that the team has waived guard Anthony Roberson. Roberson (6-2, 195), joined the Bulls on Feb. 19, 2009 in a four-player trade with the New York Knicks. In six regular season games with Chicago last season, he averaged 2.0 ppg in 3.8 mpg.

Um. No.
He is shorter than both Nash and Dragic. We don't need another point guard to develop.
The Suns won't sign a young point guard to develop because they believe in Goran Dragic.

His 2 points a game is definitely what's holding us back from being an elite team

I would rather have him over Lou Amundson because at least Roberson can make a jumpshot...

Mary you just hate Lou, admit it
Having met the dude in person and seen him up close, he's EXACTLY the sort of hustling, tough, athletic forward you want on the bench

I'm not Roberson fan at all, I meant there are alot of players in the NBA or d-league like Lou that bring the energy and hustle off the bench but can also make a jumpshot

On top of the energy and hustle off the bench, Lou is productive.

if Lou was a free agent, a number of teams would be fighting for his services right now

^Lakers, Spurs, Celtics, Bulls, Mavs, Orlando, Cavs would be all over Lou as soon as he was let go. He might not get the same number of blocks, but he has an impact similar to what Birdman produced this postseason.

Seriously, the guy Lou should work with is Kevin McHale - if he improved his offense a little and learned a few things about positioning, he could be the same type of player. I don't mean he would be as good as Frankenstein but he could have the same kind of game. He's a great pickup for us and brings a lot to the the floor with him.
It would be nice if his desire and hustle rubbed off on Stat

Mary you only like the thug athletes with potential. I never used to like Amundson but he does a lot of positive things on the court. Yes his jumpshot sucks but he could average 10 rebounds a game if he got enough pt.
