Well...

They should have drafted Brandon Jennings, he would have exploded in D'antoni's system. I liked the Toney Douglas pick for them but Jennings would have been a perfect fit for the Knicks. As for FA I don't get what their trying to do but they should look to re-sign Nate Robinson and do a sign and trade with David Lee.

The knicks?

well, the knicks have proven that D'Antoni is not a basketball God genius afterall and that it was Steve Nash who made the engine run in Phoenix. Without Nash, D'Antoni is toast and the Knicks stink.

(u can argue the other way around too - saying Suns were better w/ D'Antoni. So i guess both sides - Nash and D'Antoni - ONLY work well together and fail when apart)

Oh, I think Mike D did all rright - +9 wins form last season, with a linup that was constantly changing and two of its highest paid stars, and I use the term advisedly, on the bench or in the stands for the entire season. (Curry and Steph)

Walsh is assembling a solid young crew and while sessions would be nice, he doesn't have Nash's shot, which is a huge part of what makes his game work. If you know the guy has to pass because he can't hit the shot ... is a problem Nash has never had.

I agree maybe Douglas was not the guy some would have chosen but he looks good so far

If they can keep Lee somehow, with Chandler at the 2/3, Gallinari healthy, Toney Douglas and Jordan Hill (who looks okay if not great) - that's just a universe away from the hodgepodge of headcases and morbidly obese retards Isiah had cobbled together.

I think they make the playoffs next year, and Walsh is nowhere near done. A guy they ought to add, in my opinion, is Coby Karl - cheap, plays D, has a good all-round game, no ego, ready to work.

Seriously this offseason the thread creating has been a joke

If you're going to start a thread, make a point. or it's going to have a short shelf life - and don't just post and not bother to make a legit conversation, it's annoying and frustrates everyone

Hey TASTIC, I think this was just somebodies (Please Use More Appropriate Word) joke because of all the post about not creating the useless threads. It is getting really irritating..........

why not post YOUR thoughts on it as well then?

we literally have zero interest in the Knicks...D'Antoni left on bad terms and with Marbury and Q gone there aren't any connections there

Imagine if I went on the Knicks board and posted:

"So Um.m..."
so uhh...... How 'bout those Suns??

Think D'Antoni is second guessing choosing NY over Chicago? I would, just after he declined the Bulls job they won the lottery and got D Rose... Ouch

This whole post is a joke, should have at least had a valid title. "So Um.m.." Sounds like something someone would drunkenly write to a girl on myspace.

I'd love to discuss NY or any other team but not on a waste of a thread like this.

The knicks? Last I checked this was a Phoenix Suns basketball board.

I'm struggling to figure out how they would be relevant on this or any board while we're at it. How bout those knicks? Last I checked they sucked so if you're looking for reassurance on that great.

Don't get too excited about Sessions either. He can't shoot a lick. Teams will just back off him and defend the pass. On a normal team they could adjust but with Dantoni's offense it will spell disaster.

So welcome, and goodbye. I can't see anything making them relevant for the next few years, or warranting another A$$clown thread like this forever.
