New York Post Headline (and also printed by RGM):

Bosh Laughs At Idea Of Playing For Knicks

Chris Bosh responded with laughter when asked by a fan on Wednesday if he would sign with the Knicks next summer.

Ismail Humet, a Knicks fan and student at Hofstra University, had a conversation with Bosh over ustream.com as the Raptors All-Star awarded Humet a pair of signed sneakers.

When Bosh told him that he had won the shoes, Humet replied, "I appreciate that, but you know what's a better gift? Come to the New York Knicks next season."

Bosh responded with quite a bit of laughter, but denied that he was chuckling at the Knicks specifically.

"I always laugh it off when people ask me to come to their cities," he wrote on his Twitter page Thursday. "I wasn't laughin' because it was the Knicks."

So - The headline says Bosh Laughs at Idea of Playing for Knicks, the story, last line, says Bosh Does Not Specifically Laugh at Idea of Playing for Knicks.

Nice work ...

It's quite sad actually, that a major newspaper - even the Post - is so driven to create controversy and inflate a non-story that they would actually proof and okay this. But it's about all we need to know about journalism in the 21st century, and in NY in particular.

Yeah it seems like they want to start up controversy like with the whole 2010 free agency thing. That's what I like about Paul Coro the Suns beat writer, he just tells it like it is and doesn't start any false rumors.

"We're sickened by this, and just so you know why we're sickened, here are the pictures of David Carradine's strangled corpse, in fishnets"

Media, in general, sucks. NY media, is 8 times worse. You take what you want out of that.
