Hey guys. I am a huge NBA fan like most on realgm.com. I am also a big Portland Blazers fan. We have a poll running on our team board wondering what everyone thinks of how our team measures up. Most everybody has 'homer goggles' on to a certain degree so of course, it is difficult to ask such a question like this to fans of the team.

I was hoping that those with an outside perspective on our team, could take the time to take our poll and tell us how good or bad we are as it stands today.

I love Portland, and I think you guys can own us any day of the week as long as Oden is healthy, but you guys still have a long way to go in terms of being contenders, especially because of the youth and inexperience, and the lack of extreme talent at SF and PG. I think this is due to Nate's faults, he doesn't give Bayless minutes, not that Bayless is a true PG but he would fit perfectly next to Roy. You guys really need to get a good SF that can score and help Roy, because he takes much of the offensive load scoring and setting team mates up. Gerald Wallace or someone in that mold makes sense, but you might want to acquire someone that can shoot 3's too
