What do you guys think about him? He's a high energy great rebounder, average man to man defender, good helpside defender, good shot blocker, and brings all the hustle we'd need. He could be a good fit alongside Amar'e, and a great addition to our frontcourt. What does everyone feel about acquiring him for a 2-3year contract at 1-2mil each?

Yeah but unfortunately I don't think Kerr would do it...

No. The Suns are looking for versatility.

Hell yeah - him and Duds, or with Lou, would be a very tough, active frontcourt. Lock him up - TO would have but they overspent

Hes a great rebounder and can run he floor well and throw it down, so Nash will probably make him look better then he is. But dont expect much else from him other then that. His perimeter defense isnt so bad as he is also trying to become a three, but doesnt have much skill if any in the way of handles or shooting. Although he wouldnt be a bad signing, I dont think hed be a good fit here, mainly because you guys need a guy who can defend the post and play the 4-5 more so then the 3-4, and you already have duplcate players in Dudley and Lou.
My guess is since the Raptors acquired Belinelli, they will no longer pursue Delfino, and will probably lock up Pops or Graham with our remaining cash to backup the 3-4.

They did - I assumed from the post that something had happened there.
RealSunsFan posted an excerpt from a report that the deal with Sasha, according to his agent, is that he's been told to proceed as if Sasha were a FA and find a place for him, then PHX will talk about a sign and trade. So we are looking at getting someone back rather than just a dump.
Of course they can still waive him if it';s not a fit, but at least they're not just cutting him loose for the $$$

that right there IS a pure salary dump.
I can see the Kerr-nel now.... ' Well, we tried to find some deals for Pavlo, but only X team was interested...and we really could not benefit from a trade with them... so we just relaesed him. (then uttered in a soft whisper) and were able to save 3.5 Million.

Are we still talking about undersized PFs?
Really?
Seriously?

Fair enough - I still think that it's better than just outright releasing him but really - Sasha or his absence, or who we would conceivably get for him in a S&T, are not likely to make a real difference to us anyway. I'd rather the team have cap space and the ability to make a move if a great deal presented itself.
The - if they pass on said perfect fit - we'll know conclusively it's only about the $$$
Nowe, if it's a deal to send Sasha as sweetner to someone taking JRich offf our hands, count me in
Can't see that happening in a the real world though
