WOW, are you seriously a Suns fan? Dalembert is god awful, on a god awful contract, and he think's he's not awful, which makes a horrid combo. Not to mention the filler you've thrown in there is average or below average, undersized, cannot defend very well, and is also on a useless contract. I'd rather take Richardson's 20/5/3/1 than get half that production in everything but rebounds from both those players combined and pay less salary as well. The only deal that I would like that would send Richardson to Philly for someone outside of Iggy is one that has Brand coming back. Other than that, this sucks.

No way, J-Rich is a borderline all-star and even thoug his contract is considered bad by todays standards he could give the Suns 20 plus points a game any night and thrive in run-n-gun offense under Gentry the full season. He's going to get alot more open shots with Amare back in the mix.

LOL

J Rich has made every team he has been on worse. His defense is awful and he has a very low basketball IQ.

Willie Green is a good scorer and defender. Dont know what you are talking about.
Daly is inconsistent but an excellent rebounder and shot blocker. He is also perfect for the running game.

Robin Lopez on a rookie contract > Sam Dalambert on his contract

That's clearly not true.

I'm not willing to trade JRich unless we get back a perimeter threat.

I'm all for getting rid of J-Rich only problem is nobody wants him, i'd rather take Thaddues Young instead of Dalembert

Another thread about this??? Statisback, this is getting old and redundant.

by the way, if JRich is so bad, then what has dalenfart done for his team the past few years?

If you think Green is a good scorer and defender, then Richardson should be a HOF player. Also, Daly isn't inconsistent, he's very consistent at sucking. He's only decent for 41 games, and decent for him is 10/10/2. Other than that, he gives below average numbers for a starter, and his contract is worse compared to his production than Richardson. Dude, if you want this team to win, you wouldn't want Dalembert on it, especially not at the price of Richardson.

I dont know a lot about Green... but here is hoopshype's thoughts

http://hoopshype.com/players/willie_green.htm

This may be one of those deals where both teams need to see what they have and what they lack as the season goes along. Nothing against JRich, but his offensive contribution may be easier to replace than finding post defense and rebounding.

SamDali has had his ups and downs...may be a change of scenery would be good... This would certainly be the Best team he has ever been on. If we, as many predict, we get owned on the glass, he might be an option, IF Philly needs some offense.

Young would be great but he's pretty much untouchable; especially for Jrich. We'd have to at least throw in Clark +1st round pick and Stefanski would still laugh at this. Young will be a star it's just a matter of how soon.

Whoever said J-Rich is an awful defender, is clearly an idiot.
J-Rich is an under-rated defensive player and probably one of the best on the Suns.
He can give the Suns 20+ points a game and would fit perfectly in the Sun's run-and-gun offense under Gentry. He can knock down the 3-ball and run on a fastbreak.
Then trading him for Willie Green (who puts up below-average stats for a starter and has a useless contract) and Dalembert (a horrible scorer, defender and only decent rebounder with a horrible contract), would be stupid.

Did you just say JRich is a good defender??? WOW! Now that is ignorance at its best. J Rich is a terrible defender and everyone knows that. How can you say he is underrated defensively??? Dalembert may not be the answer.

What about Marcus Camby? J Rich for Camby?

I've been barking up that tree for a while but i think the Clipps will start Eric Gordon so they don't need a SG, i'd like a J-Rich for Salmons and Noah deal to workout...

J-Rich gets paid to shoot not defend, he played good D at MSU and then it stopped

Why does this need to be posted on both this forum and ESPN? It really sucks to see the same old topic twice.

So we send JRich and Tucker? I guess Philly needs two extra sgs, to go along with AI and Kapono. So they signed Primo, so what. Primo is a back up center, and Philly has no other true center on their team. What do they do with JRich? Does any team need to pay their sgs $31 mil? Do they start him, move AI to sf, and bench Kapono? That would move Thad to a third string player, which would hurt his playing time. Just because the salaries match up, doesn't mean the trade works for all teams involved. Please just think of this before you create a new thread. Or at least try it on ESPN for a week, and if everyone likes it and it is good for all teams involved, then post it here.

Lets just trade Pav for KT and filler, or get a team under the cap to pick up a cheap player from MIL, and we'll be ok.

lol JRich for Dali? The difference between JRich and Dali is that JRich at least puts up 3/4 of the stats his contract says he should. Dali puts up half.

JRich for Camby?? Alright mate, real funny.

So we are trading a potential offensive scorer who can put up 30 points any given game for a front court player who thinks he's like Bosh but his stats says other wise. hummm.. pass!!

Dalembert is at best a 12 ppg, 10 rpg and 1 bpg getting paid like he's a 18 ppg , 12 rpg and 2 bpg. I would much rather keep Jason Richardson!!
