Ny-phx Trade idea?

Post#1 » by Dbloc123 » Thu Aug 6, 2009 2:25 pm

The Warriors nearly pulled off a trade for Amare Stoudemire earlier this offseason, but according to multiple sources a trade is nowhere near happening now.

Phoenix was hoping to receive Andris Biedrins, Brandan Wright and Stephen Curry in return for Stoudemire.

J.R. Smith's last-second whiff left the Knicks with a sixth straight loss. But J.R. would do it again. "I think we went with the best shot," he said.

what the **** is wrong with you? seriously, this **** is so stupid... we take on jefferies and a contract that will be horrible in lee and duhon who we have no use for and give you Amar'e and cap savings? we don't even get one of your youngs in chandler/hill/galli, and give up amare. **** off, wow this is dumb..

SD - consider this a public warning for ignoring the swear filter and personal insults, NO need for that sort of rant. They come up *** for you, but I can see what you've written.

Completely non-sensical trade for the Suns.

Sorry Tastic, I knew I'd get a warning, just tired of these nonsense ideas in this slow slow off season.

Yeah, I wish there were a rule (such as was suggested on Bright Side of the Sun) for trade ideas. So many people throw out the stupidest trade ideas ever, without any consideration for salaries or benefit to BOTH teams. "How about we trade Lou Amundson to Utah for Carlos Boozer and Deron Williams?"

That trade has a very realistic chance of happening.

Amare for Al Jefferson

Yes, ahem ....

This also appears somewhat brain-damaged in my estimation. Why not get ECurry too, and then blow up the arena?

We don't give up Amar'e and not get back at least Chandler somewhere in the deal

Wow this is, no offense, a terrible trade. While SD may have overreacted, you sir have been charged with inciting a riot.

I've yet to determine whether the frog is more suitable as a metaphor for this thread or our front office.

we will finally concede we made a mistake by picking Amare ahead of Jefferies. It's our chance to undo the draft! ;)

I obviously don't condone the language SD used. But he told it like it is. This is a horrible trade from top to bottom.

Lee imo is overpaid at 9mil a year.

Jefferies is a scrub

Duhon is a very average PG.

Possibly one of the worst trade ideas in a while.

What about Marcus Banks, I think he is a solid player who can help us get over the hump, Kerr should talk to Colangelo about making this great deal to go live, WHOS WITH ME
