IMO answer is no, he'd be like Yao playing against the old run n gun suns. if we're going back to that Big Baby would do HORRIBLE as Sun.

Big Baby doesn't rebound and pass like Shaq its not the same. He would have to lose some weight to be effective on a team that wants to run.

yeah, but we didn't did we?
The BIG PT BARNUM is gone. No regrets, enjoyed his stay.
Big Baby is not a center. He is not as physical as one might expect.

No way on Big Baby. He's as out of shape as Jahidi White, and his height and skillset will make it difficult for him to stick in the NBA.

We could use his toughness and defense, but he'll die if he tries to run with us.

That was hilarious, I remember watching that on the ESPN highlights. Although you could look at that and say he plays with a lot of heart.

Ray Allen is the Celtic that I'd be after....what I wouldn't give to swap Richardson for him...
And you'd have to think that they'd like Richardson as well. More athletic, younger....

No word of any interest at all for Big Baby. In fact the opposite is true/
At most the Suns will do a league minimum signing at this point. Any trades will be after the season starts. Standing pat and seeing what we do for the rough away stretch we start the season with. May adjust roster accordingly ala last year. There a few discussions about league minimum peeps. I don't think Swift will be returning. Something about his conditioning and lack of effort to be in shape.
There is concern about how Amare is progressing. He has not been training as he should be yet to get back into basketball shape. Keep in mind he was spending most of his time recovering with absolutely no physical activity. There is some wondering outside the front office on how the hell he was so built but Amare has always looked in shape. He's been out and about enjoying his vacation a bit and is supposed to be back this week to start training seriously.
This is Nash's team now and he has a lot of say in what happens come the trade deadline at this point.
Don't expect anything big to happen. It is what it is for now.

The guy you want for that is Joe Alexander, not BBD

I'd want him on the team but I don't think we're going to spend any dime on anyone else besides the minimum.
