Out here in Cali. My brother and I saw him walking through the entrance with his kid and i think what could be a bodyguard or his brother. From the looks of it, he looks really lean and healthy. Its amazing how i managed to spot him out and no one else was yelling out his name or anything.

-I saw Sean Rooks at Universal Studios Hollywood, CA.

-I saw Steve Nash hooping it up with indoor ballers at 24-HR Fitness San Diego, CA.

-I saw Bo Outlaw hooping it up with street ballers at Venice Beach, CA (the blacktop courts).

other notable sightings of non-athlete celebrity status:

-Tom Cruise at Kate Mantalini Restaurant in Beverly Hills, CA.
-Jessica Alba at Pinche's Tacos in Los Angeles, CA.
-Ryan Ceacrest (spelling?) at Universal Studios Hollywood, CA (same day as Sean Rooks).

In all seriousness one my cousin's can be considered a celebrity he enters alot of those body building contests. Not those show off ones where guys stand in their underpants flexing their muscles but he enters ones where you actually have to lift weights and stuff.

I used to work Downtown many years ago, and I waited on many ball players, coaches, owners, and even Reggie Jackson. One night, Jason Kidd, Nash, and a few others came into the bar, and I was the only one on ( that was around '96). They didn't seem like they were 6'3"-6'4". They were both very cool.

JC came in w/ Reggie when BOB and the Diamondbacks were just getting started. They were all business, but they were cool to wait on.

I even saw Tim Perry right after we traded him for Chuck.

Not many celebs are butts to wait on, and if you treat them like normal people, they act like normal people.

California people are used to seeing celebs, so it isn't shocking that Amare wasn't mobbed. I flew SWest from Oakland, and Angels and Airwaves was on the flight. It was cool because those flights have no first class, so they were all mixed in with us.

I saw Joe Smith at Disneyland about a week after he got drafted by GS...had a goofy hat on and a million little suits around him acting like the fun police

Nobody knew who he was anyway, but I did from watching the draft so I snapped a photo

And yeah, the DP09 crew managed to meet a fair few players/staff

I saw and spoke with D'Antoni a couple of weeks ago in Vegas. It was the last weekend of the summer league... he was at the Wynn (would you expect anything less?), but he was playing quarter slots. Wouldn't you think he'd be at the $25/min craps table? He was, as you'd expect, an absolute gentleman. He said he hopes we have a great year under Alvin and told my wife and I to have live it up in Vegas. He was so nice that we both got a little emotional walking away. No joke!

Caught Amare at the Beyonce concert at USairways center the other week (don't give me a hassle- birthday present for my wife..lol). He didn't have a seat so he and his wife were wandering the aisles a little. He settled about 10 feet from me.

Once caught a bouncepass from Steve Nash at Gainey Village. I clanged one off the rim, and it bounced his way. Flipped it up with his foot, and bouce passed it to me.

Played ball with Tony Delk and Eddie House at Gainey Village. Made a left-handed hook shot (I'm 5'11") on the baseline to which Eddie proclaimed..."For real?" LOL. Good times.

Used to see Barkley in there every week a couple of times. Rex Chapman (Gainey), Big Jake (DC Ranch), Little Jake (DC Ranch), saw Stoudemire before at Chandler Mall, saw Barbosa at the Chandler mall, and said hi to him in portuguese.

Saw Charles Barkley and shook his hand at a night club in 1993. He start kissing all the girls we were with on the cheek. LOL

Met MJ's father and his wife during the Bulls Suns game 1 in Phoenix. He was sitting in the last row and we were in the row in front of him. Then that summer he got shot.

Met Magic Johnson in a club in 1992.

Saw Kareem a few years ago in Sky Harbor
