What about sending Nash out by the Feb. 2010 deadline?

Post#1 » by Alymero » Mon Aug 10, 2009 3:50 pm

Trade ID #5221820

To Suns: Jameer Nelson & Rashard "PED" Lewis

To Magic: Amare Stoudemire & Steve Nash

Is this an insult to your intelligence or would it be something you'd be alright with? it gives Nash his best chance to win a ring and for Amare to revive his stagnate career in a new enviroment.

Add either Dwight Howard or Pietrus/VC and you have a deal.

I hate when losers say "Lets trade a player so they get a chance to win a ring somewhere else". If they are good enough to win a ring, they'll win a ring, by earning them.
That trade is stupid, there is no plus side to that trade for the Suns. They dig themselves a larger financial hole for the long-term future.

Trading Nash ends the Suns winning seasons. The moment he's gone, expect us to drop to 40-42 at best, 25-30-50ish at worst.
The Phoenix Suns - 54-28. Projected Record: 54-28 3rd Seed

The Phoenix Suns - 2010-2011 Projected Record: 30-52 3rd lottery pick.

How about just Nash for Nelson?
