If you listen to rap at all and have never heard Tech N9ne, you have to check him out. He's better then 99.9% of the rappers dominating the radio. :D

That is a bit of a surprise, anyways you should check out Billy Talent if you've never listened to them. Judging by your taste in music you may dig them.

I think I listened to some of their songs a few years back, didn't really care for their style but they weren't bad or anything.

Eminem album was OK. Lyrically it wasn't as potent as his past albums.

I'm waiting on Lupe's new album. Hopefully it be out this year.

Hasn't been the greatest year for music. In fact, the only album I can say I've really enjoyed is Wolves in the Throne Room's "Black Cascade." Behemoth's "Evangelion" and General Surgery's "Corpus in Extremis" were alright. I don't even listen to a lot of metal these days, but that's about all I've heard released this year that was ok.

I HIGHLY suggest the new LP from Discovery. It's their first album and it's something completely unique. My favorite summer-feeling CD in awhile.

Also check out Swoon by Silversun Pickups. GREAT album.

Haven't heard Them Crooked Vultures but love Zep, Queens, and Fighters. Have you heard of Wolfmother?

I'm looking forward to the new Black Rebel Motorcycle Club album and getting the CCR box set :D

I might have to go for that cheap...

Yeah love my BRMC as well

Metallica for the win though.

Hell yeah, Josh Homme owns. I'm a huge fan of Zep, Foo, Nirvana and especially QOTSA. That album should be killer.

If you guys want I have an all acoustic QOTSA album I made up of various acoustic performances I was able to find last year. Let me know and we can find a way to get it downloaded. It is a little too long to fit on a cd in its entirety but perfect for an Ipod.

It's not out yet, but the Blueprint 3 is gonna be huge...like history kinda huge
Granted I will be very biased, (BIG jay-z fan here) but lately theres too many rappers that are one-song wonders, and it's gonna be amazing to see Jay still doin it 13 years after Reasonable Doubt, and doin it at the top
