Post#1 » by harshey1388 » Mon Aug 17, 2009 9:21 pm

I think he'll kill it in the D-League for us.

does this give hope that something remotely good is going to come from Pavs contract?

+1.

He's the cheapest roster fill available for us. 2nd round rookie scale is over 600k in savings after tax when compared to the veteran minimum.

After Pavlovic gets bought out, we will have 13.

No chance we go over.

Although, I certainly don't think he was an amazing pickup for us, there is something to be said for his work-ethic, tenacity and grit. He doesn't seem to mind to get dirty to try to come up with a loose ball, and will likely continue to work hard on his game.

Don't know why alot of people seem down on the signing, Taylor Griffin is a much better player than Amundson. If he can make the team, Taylor Griffin definately can.

Mary...you're clearly just anti-Amundson, to make such a naive statement that a 2nd round rookie is better than a guy who was our main backup PF/C, is only 26, dirt cheap, and averaged 5.4pts and 4reb AND 1.2blks in only 16mins per after the AS Break...

"Much better"?

Please.

I'm guessing you didn't like Majerle, Hornacek or Chapman?

If given the same amount of minutes I'm sure Griffin can put up around the same numbers, plus he's 4 years younger.

Plus Griffin and Amundson are basically the same type of player but Griffin has way more potential.

Griffin will be lucky to play 2 years in the NBA, book it. classic tweener who's too short for PF or C, and can't shoot or dribble and is too slow to guard 3s

And he's not the athletic freak like Maxiell or deceptively quick like Big Baby...

Just because a player's young doesn't mean he has potential. Griffin will NEVER average 5 and 4 let alone a block per...

Amundson is around the same size isn't he? In the Suns system Griffin could probally play some at the PF position.

So has it been confirmed that Mary is racist yet?
