With Jason Collins having gone to the Hawks, anyone want to think about Jarron Collins as our other True center?

He certainly wasn't much of a great player, but he is definitely big, and has been known to play some decent defense.

TASTIC mentioned the Collins brothers in another thread about free agents, since which time Jason has been picked up...to tell you the truth, I wouldn't mind him as a veteran post defender. I would say there are definitely more talented options out there, but maybe for the money and limited playing time we have to offer, we go for someone of his stature.

i'm sick of the suns getting people's brothers... though i'm not familiar with these brothers, so i don't know if jason is the better brother, but it would follow suit considering the suns love for lesser brothers.

I can understand the brothers issue. Jarron is the more athletic brother with better hands, though. He fits our style better than Jason in my opinion. He is pretty big and strong and would be helpful to have in a pinch.

Pretty much sums up the entire Suns organization for the past year:

-Less heralded brothers being drafted
-Superstars being traded away (marion, shaq)
-No-name free agents signed for minimum salaries
-Lowered expectations

Gotta love to be taylor griffin: the shorter, bald brother that can't play as well. things must have been dramatic at the dinner table in the griffin household.
