Ostertag was great in the movie Eddie with Whoopie Goldberg....that's about all he was great at.

He says he has interest from an NBA team; watch that team be us

If there was a slight chance of permanent damage to his eye for playing this year there's no way the doc would allow him to play, i'm not worried about his eye, more worried about how he plays with goggles. It's a bigger issue than most believe...

Amare played the best game of his career at Indiana in the goggles. Not too worried.

^ i watched that game again just the other day - that was one of the most efficient games I have ever seen in my life
he was robbed of a 50 point game too by the scoretable already telling him he had 50 when he was on 48

Amare could put up monster numbers every game, but Terry Porter seemed to be the only one who didn't realize that and turned him into a role player.
Amare ripped Porter (again) a few weeks ago by saying he wants to become a dominant force again like he was "before the Terry Porter era."
I was disgusted at the way Porter used Amare.
He probably forgot his 37 PPG average against Duncan in the 2005 Western Conference Finals and the incredible scoring numbers he put up under Mike D'Antoni.
He only averaged 21 PPG under Porter.

There's a poll on the side and over 58% of the surveyed say this is Amare's last season as a Sun.

Good thing the fans don't make the decisions then!!
On topic I think the "doctor's rave reviews" is just media talk as always but anyway great to hear he's feeling good and is already working out with the rest of the guys. I hope he has a great comeback year and stays healthy the whole season. Would be good to see some improvement on defense also. I also hope he embraces the center position this year.

The poll didn't say they want this to be his last year here... just shows the kind of faith we have in the people that do make the decisions.
