Future Suns Center?

Meanwhile, in Ellensburg, Washington, 13-year-old Brenden Adams is having a hard time fitting into cars.
At 7 feet 4.6 inches, Adams -- who as a kindergartner was taller than his teacher -- has made it into the Guinness World Records 2010 book, released Thursday, as the tallest teenage boy.

So he's 13 years old and is 7'4". This kid could end up being pretty damn tall and he obviously is a fan of the Suns already so we have that going for us.

He was a Shaq fan if I recall, Shaq happened to play for the Suns at the time but now that he's with the Cavs he's probally a fan of them.

Is he naturally tall or is it some sort of physiological disorder like Sun Ming Ming?

He actually has a disease that makes his bones grow faster then his body. I watched a show on him and it is actually a pretty sad thing. Shaq heard about him and flew him out here to spend the day with him. He is not capable of doing physical activities due to size and overgrown, weak bones. Having seeing the story on this kid I really do not find this thread to be funny.

There's probably more people this tall than people think but very rarely do they have the body to be a competitive athlete. It's like that guy in college who could dunk without jumping, he was a pretty big story until he had that injury that ended his career already.
The problem with how quick these tall people grow is that their muscles don't grow at the same rate as their bones which means they get their height related problems before they have the chance to grow their muscles to support that frame.
But you do get the occasional giant who have just enough muscle growing to support the frame and make it into competitive sport like Yao. But the problems eventually catch up to them as their body starts to take a toll from the heavy frame.

He played a good game today but I'm not ready to crown him just yet. I'd still rather see Leinart as the starter though.

You are kidding right? Leinart into the game and couldn't move the offense for crap! they had Warner warming up again, good thing the defense got it together. Leinart is good dont get me wrong but he is no way in hell still ready to be a starter.

They put him in right in the middle of the game and he hasn't had consistent playing time. He can probably be starting on alot of other teams in the league, he's 26 now so it's not like he's a young guy trying to learn the game. He's a vet in the league and can play.

He just set the record for passing percentage in one game, i like leinart but we're f_cked if Kurt gets hurt. Plus it was Leinart's job last year and Kurt beat him out, then led us to the Super Bowl. CROWN HIS ASS!!!!!!

Yeah that's great about the record and all but the longest yard pass today was like 22 yards so he was basically just playing it safe. Leinart didn't even get the chance to compete for #1, once they gave Warner that contract he was automatically the guy.
If Warner gets hurt though the blame should fall of Whisenhunt. If he wouldn't have such a hard on for St. Pierre he would be out of the NFL, Palko would have made a decent third stringer...

Warner beat him out last year, not this year. Once he led them to the Super Bowl he got a contract extension which he deserved. Leinart has been a dissapointment so far, if he was the better QB he wouldn't have been beat out by a 36 year old man. As for the short passes, it's called taking what the defense gives you, why bomb the ball into triple coverage when you can dump it off to Boldin or Hightower. By the way we won easily. Your the typical bandwagon fan if someone has one bad game you think they're awful. You don't know sh_t about football

Haha are you serious dude?
Ive been a Cardinal fan since I was born, even when I lived out of state I still rooted for the Cardinals. Now I admit the NBA is the main sport I follow but seriously I know enough about football to know that when you draft a QB, especially early in the first round you give him a chance. The Warner story was great and all but there was a reason the Giants let him go, to make room for Eli. That's what should have happened here. Leinart is the future...

Kinda like how you want to let Nash go because Dragic is the future?

I guess you can say that, but it mainly has to do with other reasons
