If he works hard enough I think he can be an all-star and the best player in this draft. He's already the best defender in his draft class, so he has the defense. If he works hard I think he can be a 20-10-5 type of player.

I agree wholeheartedly... IF he works had enough. Amare with Defense is SOO beast!

hey, now i see where the KG comparisons come from...

I don't think he will develop into an Amare type player, because Earl's game is more finesse I would say, and he doesn't have the same athletic ability or aggression that Stoudemire has. That doesn't mean I don't think he could be an allstar just not an Amare with defense in my opinion.

earl IS the future of the suns... for some reason i see the suns letting amare walk in free agency next offseason and signing a big FA and clark becoming the starting PF.

I agree, i think it somewhat normal to over hype prospects and especially after a season like the Suns had. But in my opinion Earl Clark is nothing at all like Amare. My guess is his best case potential is more along the lines of Prince or Odom and worst case he could be a bust.

i am envisaging more of a marion type undersized PF role from him myself

I could see Clark becoming better than Lamar Odom, easy. 23-10-5 seems pretty realistic for best case- or better than Odom, in other words.

Yikes man...EASY?

If he turns into Odom I'll be surprised and ecstatic. Odom's so underrated now that he's off the bench

If in 3 years Clark is putting up 16-7-3 I'll be very happy...

Earl Clark hasnt even played an NBA game yet and people think he will be like Amare??? LMAO!

Like someone else said, it would be great if he can be a Lamar Odom type player. I think he could become as good as Josh Smith since he has similar style of play but he is likely to be more like Marvin Williams

Wow....Some of you guys have some real high hopes for Clark. He hasn't done anything so far. I would be surprised if he turns anything into a 23/10/5 player. That just pretty much puts him into the league of superstars. Even with his talent, he could not dominate in college and didn't show any qualities of a franchise player. I see him being a borderline all-star, with about 18-8-2 a game.

23-10-5?!?!?

Come on guys...

16-7-3 seems very reasonable yet STILL impressive.

The last player to average 20+, 10+, 5+ a game was Kevin Garnett. Why would a player of almost KG caliber almost drop down to end of the lottery. He hasn't done anything since the draft to prove such thing

That's as ridiculous as Warrior fans claiming Randolph is going to be Amare on offense and Garnett on defense.

Lamarcus aldridge with defense and I'm ecstatic. If he develops a consistent 3 could be a rashard lewis type.

I hope he ends up a stat stuffer. 16/8/4/2.

needless to say I'm hi on him.

LMAO  Earl is our AR!

I do agree that Earl is going to be great. But we must give him lots of playing time and with the "A" squad. Hopefully we got Thunder Dan working with him! :D

Randolph is/will be a BEAST in this league for many years to come plus he's cheap, and in our system, just, look out man... We should've traded Amare to GS at the deadline last year when we could've gotten Randolph and Beads.

Randolph has so much potential, he's gonna be a beast... he needs to bulk up though but i heard he grew from 6'10" to 7'
