OT: Celtics vs Rockets

As you all know I'm from deep south texas, literatelly minutes away from the Mexican border. The Rio Grande Valley is home to the D-league team RGV Vipers who are fully affiliated with the HOU Rockets. Because of their affiliation the Rockets hosted the Celtics tonight in McAllen TX, home court of the RGV Vipers. I attended the game, it was an NBA experience except with thousands of less people. The venue was Dodge Arena which seats 6,300 fans so really there is no bad seat. And for the 1st time I heard the national anthem Mariachi style, very nice and unique. The C's are gonna be a force this year. KG is back and played very well. The C's 2nd unit looks like a starting 5. Sheed, EHouse, MDaniels, Big Baby Davis were solid out there. The C's lost but mainly because their 3rd unit is less than average and in a preseason game, the 3rd unit makes a big difference because they get alot of playing time. Overall great game, it was nice to see the NBA cater to smaller markets such the Rio Grande Valley.

Congrats!

I might attend the WNBA finals. STAT, Nash, and Hill bought the entire upper deck and are giving out free tickets to everybody. Go to the Box Office and tell them "Captian", and they will give you up to 6 free tickets. Game 5 of the Finals?? I've never been to a Finals/Playoff game and it will be Crazy as i think the Mercury have a real good shot at winning!

Go LifeLocks!!!!!

Thanks for the tip, I was considering buying them since I have a promo code(45 dollar lowel tickets for 10 bucks) but I'd much rather go for free rather than pay the online convenience charge. I'm in Tucson though so I have to get a friend to go to the box office and pick up tickets haha.

Yeah I'm worried about that as well but I'm(sadly) banking on the sport's lack of popularity...hopefully there will be at least two left by the time she gets to the box office. If not, then w/e, 13 bucks for 45 dollar seats.

I'm going to the mercury game upper level section 223 row 3 then going to the Cards game. Life on an az sports fan...lots of valleys with occasional peaks. This my friends is a peak even though it's womens bball it's pretty entertaining. Believe me watch it for yourself. Besides Cappie Pondexter thinking she's a female allen iverson/mixed with jamal crawford, theyr'e all pretty selfless teammates.

mercury for the title!

Cards get to 2-2 please
