This is a sports forum and I am really getting tired of all the political threads being opened. (I'm looking at you Maryvale)

While I like to debate, this is not the proper forum for politics or any discussions relating to political figures. I request that we keep topics relating to basketball.

OT threads are okay, as long as it has NOTHING to do with politics or political figures. Please consider this. Thank you.

Why not just NOT go on those threads?? Its called self-control. Use it!

Thats like telling the FCC to take off TV shows that you find Offensive. If you dont like it, change the damn channel! But dont tell me what i can and can not watch.

I'm with Kerrsed...people write OT for a reason. Just ignore it! I glance at OT threads and if one interests me, I go in. You can't really sit there and tell mods what to do - much bigger waste of a thread than one that actually starts discussion. I don't really participate in any political discussion so it only annoys me if someone hijacks another thread and turns it into some type of BS argument.

And Team America is epic. Just remember, "freedom isn't free, no there's a hefty f**n fee"

It's called OT for a reason...It's not like a create a political thread everyday, I do it once in a great while and so far I don't see anyone getting upset on the other thread, I just see people voicing their opinions on the subject.

If it gets out of hand and peoples' feeling are getting hurt I could understand than but seriously? Maybe it would be easier just to avoid the thread and not post on it if you think it will upset you that much...

Seriously, not everyone is going to agree on every issue whether it's OT or Suns related. I disagree with alot of other people's opinions but at least I don't go and insult their opinions and call for their threads to get locked.

and i also think that we should discuss the things that are happening in the world, i like the political discussions who are designed by mary..

I do have to turn the tables on you empty suit lovers. If someone was posting OT topics about Bush and his admin, would you get sick of it?? Maybe, maybe not. Its just a thought.

Personally, I dont care because I think Mary is one of those crazy people who has a few screws lose and is wanting handouts from the government. I do like good political discussions, and thus far, he has brought some. However, I do get sick of the bias leftist stuff that he loves and praises all the time. But that is fine by me. That is his view and if it does not attack others and break realgm rules, he can do it.

I would just like to see it go both ways of political discussion threads. So sunswin, bring a different view then.
