Just for all you LA haters, when I was there on Saturday for the UFC fight I spit on the ground quite a bit just out of hatred (more for the Lakers than the Clips but whatevs)

Shogun didn't get Robbed. It was his own fault that he didn't show up for the fight. It was pretty even throughout the whole fight. Machida got it by default since he was the reigning champ.

I know I get hated on for this but there are two, yes two NBA teams I am really loyal to: C's and Suns. I call the three teams I love: C's, Suns and Cubs the Holy Trinity. And don't hate on me for the C's. Their championships balance out at least the pain I endure as a Suns ans Cubs fan. Years of miserable playoff failure.

Would be embarrassing to start the season with a loss... especially to the twin brother of the guy who went #1 in the draft.

If we don't pick up slack on rebounding and turnovers, we'll lose. This means Amare needs at least 10 boards, and Nash and Barbs and Dragic need to cut it out with the TOs.
