Final West Predictions 'cuz it's fun'

Post#1 » by DirtyDez » Tue Oct 27, 2009 10:15 pm

1. Spurs (hate to say it but look at their lineup 1 thru 12, defense, experience)
2. Lake Show (Kobe and Ron are getting old :), Bynum is a dissapointment, still a filthy good team)
3. Mavs (Try to stop Kidd, Terry, Howard, Marion and Dirk in the 4th qtr)
4. Rip City (Sleeper, Oden will only get better, Roy is a top 10 player, Milller is an upgrade)
5. Thuggs (Solid squad, over-achieved last year)
6. Bee's (CP, Emeka, D-West, I think they're superior to us and younger)
7. Suns (Old system, team healthy 'knock on wood')
8. Jazz (You what ur gonna get from them every year)
- Rockets
- Clipps
- Wolves
- Thunder

Pacific:
L.A. - Going out on a limb
Suns - No doubt
Clipps - More talented than us? Maybe
Dubs - A year or 2 away
Queens - Ugh

Another MVP for LBJ, DPOY = D12, ROY = Dejuan Blair... Finals SAS>ORL

HERE ARE 6 HEADLINES FOR 2010::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Check it out

1. The 3 Texas teams are good. Really really good.

-Spurs are probably going to outlast the Lakers.
-Mavs are so deep that they may snag second best.
-Rockets will be the underdog Cinderella story of the year. Watch and see.

2. Suns will be exactly what the pre-season demonstrated.

-A very below-average team, confused on defense, and terrible on rebounding. They will score plenty of points, but they will also miss the playoffs with the lack of quality player additions and defensive shortcomings.

3. Shaq will shine in East.

-Shaq/LBJ will take the Cavs to the Finals. Celtics are too old and injured and Magic have way too many new pieces to have proper chemistry.

4. Surprise Surprise. Blazers & Nets will surprise. Blazers will be bad, Nets will be good.

-I think the Blazers will be a disappointed. Everybody is talking about them and their youth, however, the inconsistencies and injuries of center Oden, the long-term injury of Batum, and the inability to satisfy point guard Andre Miller (he is coming off the bench) will prove detrimental.
-Nets are going to surprise and make the playoffs with rookie sensation Terrance Williams - who may make a case for rookie of the year. Nets have so much youth and deep talent that they will sneak into the playoffs.

5. Wizards are for real.

-Wizards, out of all other teams, will give the Cavs the hardest time. Take my word on this.

6. Warriors will go nowhere if Nellie is still around.

-GS Warriors will continue to have internal problems with troublesome players (Jax, Ellis) and injuries (Randolph, Wright, Maggette) and lack of willingness for coach Nellie to play anybody taller than 6 foot 5.

I was just trying to keep it simple. Honestly i can't decide from which of the Big 3 outta the East. Boston is stacked but they're old, Cleveland doesn't have another guy who can take over a game if LBJ is off, with a gun to my head i'd say Orlando. Boring finals but SAS over ORL
