We need to extend him with the max before anyone catches on

Now's the perfect time to sell high, I bet the Suns could get a mid to last first round draft pick for him.

no team is going to give us that for dudley. plus i'd rather keep him around. you seem like the type of fan who likes athletic flashy showy players as opposed to guys who work hard play hard and do the little things right to win games i.e. why you dislike dudley amundsen and nash. News flash...you need those guys on the team. otherwise it's and 1 mixtape tour. Jared Dudley is not going anywhere.

We havent had a player like Dudley in years. He's like Bo Outlaw with offense.

Before the season i said let Grant Hill walk and start Duds at SF. I've been very high on him since Kerr traded for him and he has still exceeded my expectations. What a freaking pickup. He needs to play here for a very long time.

Jared Dudley is going to cash a nice contract in 2011, with us or not. Probably something like.. Childress did. 6mil/year over 5, it will be pretty good. Happy for him, he's a very hard worker, someone every team would love to have.

I think we'll keep him. Even if we have to pay him a little more than we'd like to, Kerr isn't so stupid to let this guy go. He helps us not only win games, but sell tickets. What's not to like about money?!?

we need hill, and dudley. that makes us a complete team. right now the way the suns are looking, the suns can compete for a championship.

Hopefully we can get Dudley for 4-5 mil per year. He's good and all, but he isn't worth big bucks. I think we enjoy him that much more because he does the dirty work, without being paid too much lol.

Does anyone else find it ridiculously hilarious how much all of the "elite" teams are responding to the Sun's being 7-1 even after 5 road games against legit playoff/title contenders? I looked at LA's board recently, in comments on articles about us, and anywhere else possible, and all of their (LA, Boston, Orlando) fans have to belittle us like crazy just to make themselves feel less threatened by a team that wasn't supposed to be this good. I don't wanna call us title contenders, but of all the solid teams (Houston, Denver, San Antonio, Toronto, Miami, Atlanta, Dallas) I'd say we're looking the best, or close to it. Top four seed in the west is quite possible the way we're playing.

All of those teams have 1 or 2 guys they have to rely on in clutch situations. We've had someone different step up in every close game, and we've come from being down by 12, not once but twice. That's got to say a lot about our mental toughness and discipline. To pull out every close game (Orlando was not close...) says something about your team as a whole

"Jared Dudleys" are very rare and don't come along often

Trade him?

I have no proof, but I have feeling his attitude is a significant, infusive element of the Suns early success

The Suns are not really this good, but players like Jared f--k up the predictors. Special things are possible if you have special players like Jared Dudley on your team.

Priceless

i dont think people have noticed the affect dudley's and the bench's hustle has on amare.. last year he didn't care at all this year when he is out there with the bench and lou and dudley are jumping around everywhere and hill is diving you see amare starting to do it too. He doesn't just give a spark coming off the bench because of his defense his attitude brings a lot and you can feel it when he gets into a game.. like that confident steve nash brings when he subs in, dudley brings in that fighting spirit to chase down every ball and the whole team players better from what i've seen so far. He is probably our glue guy for the bench and sometimes even for the starters.
