OT: Just made a major bet for the Suns vs Lakers game!

Even though I backed out of the bet I made a few days ago for the game, I made it with the same guy and we upped the stakes a little. This is just a pure money bet by the way, no piercings or any other sort of crazy stuff.

If the Suns win, I get $100!

If the Suns lose, I have to pay him $100

So what does everyone think my odds are?

Also anyone else making a bet with friends or family for tonights game?

I'm looking at it from the perspective that if you lose, it's a good thing. Maybe it'll teach you to quit making dumb bets.

I'll take the Suns win and ignore the fact you won the bet, though.

No better time to make a bet than tonight, even though it's a home game for the Lakers their without Gasol so this could be a blowout by the Suns just like they did last night.

nah gives MVF props for actually putting something on the line and throwing his weight behind the Suns

Some of his ideas are ridiculous but he makes some quality posts too

Why don't you play the odds? I think that he shouldn't get the same reward since he's betting on the favorite.

Vegas says Suns are getting 7 1/2.

You be the judge. You want to give away free points go ahead its your money. At least you won't be spending it on piercings or pants that don't fit.

With the way the Suns have been playing I think they can take this one easily considering Gasol is out. If they lose...guess I wont be making any more cash bets for a long time :lol:

I'm scared to walk outside my hotel room with my Phoenix Suns leather jacket lol.

Anyways I think if you throw down $100 he should be throwing down at least twice that.

Your odds: The Lakes are favored to win by 8 points. Phoenix is +280, so allow me to put that into perspective for you.

If you placed $100 on Phoenix to win in say Vegas your payout would be $280 and not $100 like it is with your friend. At a couple casinos it's +300 so the payout would be $300.

Yeah it was risky but luckily I'm already up $80 from bets I made with the same guy so if they lose I'll basically only lose $20 out of my pocket. Anyway going to go watch the game now :lol:

I made a bet on the Raiders vs Eagles game a few weeks back with some friends, I was the only person to pick the Raiders with the upset. Raiders won that game, played $100, came out with $1200.

Sigh...looks like I lost this one but who knows in that game against the 76ers the Suns were down 12 at half time and looked tired than they came back and won.

Anyway wonder what's up with the assists? Only 4 at half time?
