Saw this on the lakers board. I would like to get our take as Suns fans.
For me its right here.

1) Lakers: The reason I dislike them so much is primarily due to their fans and Kobe Bryant. Most lakers fans you met have never been in LA and have no plans of going there. Also their fans seem to double when they are winning games. Oh, dont want to forget they bring up championships in which they werent even born at the time of those championships. Oh Kobe is the most hyped player that does only one thing and that is score. Players to me that average double doubles are great players. Its my opinion but i truly feel its easy to score when you have the ball all the time. Its not easy to get assists or rebounds, you actually have to work to get the ball. Last thing on Kobe is that he cheats on his wife and then bribes her with a 2 million dollar ring not to mention how the court stuff got swept away. Anyways thats in the past.

2) Spurs: Only team I have ever watched that is taught to be dirty

3) Boston: just the current team, arrogant players

ADD on: Teams that i dont mind:
1) Orlando: Dont seem to have any dirty players. Team full of good guys
2) Chicago: Team kinda build like the suns: Hated the 90s teams

How could anyone hate the 90s Bulls?

Spurs, Lakers, Mavericks, maybe Cavs have an outside shot.
Jazz too. Okur and Kirilenko are floppers de jour and Boozer has always looked like he takes steroids.

Because of John Paxson. That play still haunts me.

Lakers...worst fanbase, arrogant players and just overall my most disliked team.

I never go to far as to label a whole fanbase as being completely delusional but for the Lakers I think that's the case, even more so than Cowboys or Yankees fans even. I have friends who are Lakers fans and are overall good guys but oh boy you don't want to get into NBA talk with them...

2. Spurs Do I need to explain?

3. Boston Good team but way to egotistical.

4, Utah I have always disliked them. Maybe because Karl Malone is my host hated player of all time.

5. Dallas Fun team to watch, but Cuban is a far left 9/11 conspiracy idiot and I HATE Jason Kidd.

also, all of those teams like: lakers, yankees, and USC just annoy the crap out of me.

The Lakers. They're the only team I've ever written a long essay explaining exactly why I have immense hatred for them. Goes way beyond basketball.

Spurs/Lakers will be atop every Suns fan's list, nothing new there.

Spurs and Lakers. Further off, Hornets and Mavericks. I pretty much dislike every team but the Suns.

Good topic. Here is my 2 cents.

Aside from the usual Lakers and Spurs - which we all agree we hate for obvious reasons from the past - I'd have to go with Golden State Warriors. I hope their fans can see this:

1. Their coach is completely incompetent. Not only does Don Nelson cause a stir everywhere he goes (Bucks GM fiasco, Dallas lawsuit with Cuban, Firing of Chris Mullen and eventual takeover of Warriors), but this guy is at odds with every single player he coaches. He ran out Dunleavy Jr, Troy Murphy, Jasacavicus, Baron Davis, Barnes, J-Rich, Pietrus, and a handful of other players. He is currently at odds with stars Ellis and S-Jax while benching upcoming stars Randolph and Stephen Curry as they are currently in the doghouse.

2. Nellie's lineups are extremely bizarre - hence why the team seldom has a winning year. He is playing 1 big man (usually Randolph or Moore) at center while having 4 guards - including Acie Law and CJ Watson playing small forward at times. He has no sense of how to coach on defense and has no sense of how and when to use his reserves.

3. Warriors are a team of controversy. Each and every single day you read, tweet, or find here on RealGM about some tirade or fight between a player and coach or player and player such as Ellis, S-Jax, and Maggette. This team strives for negative attention.

4. They lied to the Suns on draft night - and thankfully it turned out for the better. I love still having Amare around, but the fact that they lied still sheds negative light on their image. Those scumbags in Golden State are filthy liars who never get anything straight. That's why their organization is in crumble.


I like to watch NBA basketball. Watching Golden State, however, shows why I sometimes tend to turn the other way.

Mavericks - just cos. Don't like them. Though Kidd and Marion have made me not hate them

Lakers - mainly the players. Kobe, Vujacic, Horry, and when they got GP and Malone I wanted to throw up

Spurs - the team, their front office is among the BEST in pro sports - something to be proud of

New Celtics - they just got so arrogant so quickly

Old Jazz teams - hated their uni and Malone + Stockton. Love me some Hornacek though, so underrated

Lakers easily the most hated, and that mostly due to Kobe and in some measure Phil.

The Spurs, sans Bowen, I don't hate they way I did. I really have come to have great admiration and affection for Pop.

Boston - who I was happy for as I thought KG definitely. I'm happy to see any team shut him up deserved a real shot at a ring - but now he has become a tiresome ass

--- I agree completely but I've been a GSW supporter since the days of Franklin Mieuli, Nate T and Rick Barry - what/who you hate is Don Nelson, from what I read. After he did dirt to Mullin I began to really think ill of Nelson, and wonder if maybe Cuban was not such a bad guy after all; it wouldn't be hard to be the good guy in any scenario with DN.

I liked the guy as a player but he's an evil dick now.

Also, I have to say I like the Mavs, now. If it can'[t be us I'd be happy to see Dirk, Trix and Kidd win a ring. Dirk is "uncle Dirk" to Nash's kids after all - how can we wish the guy ill?

Lakers then Spurs. I gave Lakers the edge as my most hated team because of Kobe and Co. Also because as much as I hate what the Spurs has done to us, I can't help but admire how good of a team their FO has put on the court season after season and also because I have immense respect for Duncan. I have no respect for anyone on the Lakers.

I do have a hate for the Celtics but this is more recent than anything.

Warriors, Knicks, Kings, and Clippers annoy me but I don't hate them.
