Game 12: Suns (9-2) @ Rockets (6-4)

Rockets - without Yao and McGrady - just destroyed the Lakers in LA. I don't see how Suns can possibly beat this team in Houston.

Laugh if you want, but that short little 6 foot 6 center they call Chuck The Truck Hayes is actually a heck of a defensive player. Probably one of the best right now. Totally outmans anybody. If the guy can handle the Lakers, he sure as heck will destroy Amare and Frye.

Good luck Phx. Count this as a definite loss.

You kind of seem to enjoy predicting Suns doom, what with the "I told you so" after LA(which, if we're being honest, a lot of us told ourselves so), and now this prediction of a "definite loss". Have a little faith. I value realism maybe even moreso than most; I've been called a pessimist by a lot of fans. With that in mind, lighten up a little ;) !

btw, Rockets haven't won yet. Let's hope they hold on.

Hey, I'm just sayin........

Rockets are darn good. Very very good. And killer on their home floor. Very good rebounders too.

With their defense, Suns (Nash, Rich, Frye, Duds, Barbs) will have difficulty knocking down threes. Poor field goal percentage and poor rebounding will result in a Rockets victory.

What a lame game thread Sunsman. And nice prediction. Drop the Suns because the Rockets beat Lakers.

You're right, Chuck Hayes is great and would totally screw us IF our offense depended heavily on posting up Amare. While we do do that sometimes, we have a lot of other options as well. Still, the game will be tough, not expecting an easy win or anything. We definitely need to play better than tonight.

i don't think there's been a game thread yet where 4 out of 5 people on this board haven't predicted the suns losing. it's getting annoying. maybe they win, maybe they lose. quit it with all the doom and gloom crap already.

is this really the game thread? I'll just say that Nash will have his hands full w ABrooks. we must contain ABrooks and be physical down low. It's gonna be tough but I say we go to 10-2 on a nail biter.

I predicted a Suns win against the Raptors and look how close it got

considering we're 9-2 with all the doom and gloom it must be good karma and we should be a negative as possible

And the brutal road schedule continues. HOU and then at NO.

I seriously don't see how the Rockets are so damn good right now without T-Mac and Yao. They must have great team chemistry, but I'm wondering how things are gonna work out once their two all-stars come back.
I think they just have hustle players like Dudley. If the Suns can match their energy level, I think we can win this. We've been pretty good on the road so far.
The lost to the Kings last Friday, and their only home loss came against the Lakers; where I believe they were robbed.
Suns win 112-100. Amare 30 points, 11 boards. Back to back 30's.

BTW T-Mac is still on the All-Star ballot.

Yeah dude we're screwed. We're goin down. Crash and burn. TKO... We're so over.

unless Amare and Frye just shoot over Hayes and Scola, which they can do no problem. I think either Grant or J-Rich will get pretty shut down by Ariza. I think they've done as well as they have because every single one of their guys has great big man-junk's. I'm intimidated by them with the way they play. You gotta respect just how hard they go at it. I think they're in the Laker's heads too. As is Denver. It's not that they're actually amazing, the lakers just need a fresh change of diapers whenever they play em

Good analysis on the Lakers.
