I thought Larry's comments were very interesting......

"I will be working to improve our team throughout the rest of this year, and that process will be started quickly. I felt we had to get the first thing out of the way first. Are we in a position to not do anything? We're 3-6. I can't afford not to be talking to people. We're 3-6 and we need to continue to evaluate our roster."

Barbosa + Lopez + Tucker for Ellis

Get it done Kerr

Why would you want Ellis?

He's as dumb as a rock.

If anything... the only players worth (for Suns) is Azuibuke (but injured), Biedrins (injured also)... and Randolph (but he is a corner stone for them)

He's an underated player and can put up 20-5-5 a game...

Not to mention he's probably the next guy they will put up on the block...

After Monta's recent comments and his moped injury, I don't want him on this team. Barbosa's just fine where he's at, and we need Robin's size.

Barbosa is older and not to mention Ellis is the better player. He would be sick in the Suns system...

I think the Suns are fine up front, with the way Frye's playing he should be getting about 35 minutes up front and they could split the other 13 minutes up front between guys they have already like Amare, Clark and Amundson.

I'm not denying Monta's talent, but I don't think he's worth giving up Barbosa and Lopez.

This.

I'm only interested in Turiaf/Biedrins/Azubuike (2 of which are injured, and one they are unwilling to trade unless it's part of a bigger deal), so no deal is a good deal for the Suns/Warriors. At least now I'm happy to know that we aren't going to give them Amar'e at the deadline for Biedrins + crap fillers.

Monta Ellis' status with the Warriors could be determined when his agent meets with team management on Thursday, and the result could be a trade.
Multiple sources say that the Warriors, at coach Don Nelson's urging, have contacted other teams about trading Ellis, and it now appears likely that formal trade talks could come to fruition Thursday. Ellis and Nelson's relationship has nearly completely deteriorated, with Nelson telling Ellis, who was addressing the team in an attempt to be a leader, to 'be quiet' being the final straw.

If we could get Ellis without giving up any major pieces, I'd THINK about doing it, but we can't due to his ridiculous contract.

I would prob trade J-Rich for him, but considering he's undersized as a 2 and with 10 + mil for next few yr...I'm really not sure

I think Turiaf would be a good pick up. He is not that expensive at 4 mil a yr.

Turiaf would be nice, but I think Amundson reproduces what he would give us at a much cheaper price.

Yeah but at 6'10" and 249 he would be a lot better in post defense than Lou. I mean don't get me wrong I love Lou, but I really think Turiaf could help us a lot.

Is he a good post defender though? For some reason I remember LA fans lamenting his man to man defense. His help D was praised though.

We don't play a lot of man to man defense, his size will at least slow the other teams bigs without being called for fouls all the time and he is a hustle player that would fit into our bench. Just food for thought, they also have mikki moore at about 1.3 mil............ 7 footer that can hit mid range jumpers and rebounds........
