December Suns W/L Predictions

Post#1 » by Austin » Wed Nov 25, 2009 6:10 pm

Link to Suns Schedule: http://www.nba.com/suns/schedule/

So the Suns have a VERY Challenging December ahead of themselves. Key highlights are 12/1 @ New York, 12/2 @ Cleveland; 12/5 vs. Sacramento, 12/6 @ LA Lakers; 12/11 vs. Orlando, 12/12 @ Denver; 12/25 vs. LA Clippers, 12/26 @ Golden State. Not to mention that we also play Cleveland and the Lakers again, and also play Dallas, San Antonio, and Boston.

They HAVE to get the easy games, as well as 2 wins on their last back to back with the clips and warriors.

My prediction for December: 16 games, we go 8/8.

What's yours?

I'm thinking 12-4 would be doable.
The Phoenix Suns - 54-28. Projected Record: 54-28 3rd Seed

The Phoenix Suns - 2010-2011 Projected Record: 30-52 3rd lottery pick.

10 - 6, staying undefeated at home until the end of the month.

The Dallas game will be the most exciting, maybe the Cleveland game (and not because they have ex suns, I like the match ups).

3 impossibleish games, the b2bs in Cleveland, LA, and Denver

will be anywhere from a big favorite to a slight dog in every other game

I predict 12-4 or 11-5

jeez that stretch from @LAL to @POR is BRUTAL

I'm going to go with 10-6 or maybe even 11-5

Losses to @LAL, @DAL, @CLE, @POR, @DEN. the others are more winnable at least

We can beat BOS in Phoenix, same with Orlando

8-8 sounds about right

Ive been saying this for awhile but we're gonna have a tough tough December

Look for us to bounce back in January though we've got a pretty easy schedule then

Those b2b's on the road against top teams is a killer. I won't worry about it. Survive with 8-8 and make up ground when we can play at home with some rest between games like the Lakers enjoy.

I think we can pull out a win in CLE.

We could go 13-3 (home sweet home).

I don't agree with 13-3 but I do think we can take at least one of the games against CLE, we can take DAL and with how inconsistent SAN are playing now, we could take them as well.

Honestly this is a tough stretch but anything over .500 this December would m-m-m-make my happy.

@NYK - W( should be an easy win, but you never know)
@CLE - L ( Lebron, Mo and Shaq too much to overcome)
SAC - W ( We should win this one)
@LAL - L( another game on the road against the Lakers, spelled C-H-A-O-S)
@DAL - L( don't underestimate this team, they been playing lights off)
ORL - W ( playing at home, suns want revenge against this team)
@DEN - W( things will get ugly, denver loves getting into players skin and pushing us around. but at the end I see suns outscoring them)
SAN - L( God I hate them soo frickin much. Spurs could be 10-25 and still end up beating phx. just a bad match up for us every year)
@POR - L( a very good talented team thats out to prove something and their fans are crazy)
WAS - W* team has been struggling and Suns are great at home, so expect a suns win)
CLE - W( we're playing at home, so this time around I expect Suns to come out with energy and slow them down)
OKC - W( this team is much improved but still inexperienced, will be a close game but suns will pull it out)
LAC - W( Blake Griffin should be back but I still see a Suns win)
@GSW - W( golden state usually gives us trouble, but most of their players are injured so it can go either way, but ill pick the Suns)
LAL - W( Suns are not losing to the Lakers again. "I repeat we aren't losing to the lakers again)
BOS - L( They want revenge for the first time we beat them at their house)

I see a 10-6 record in December.

dude shaq has been a non-issue for the cavs this season, he's missed like 6 games. we have NOTHING to worry about for that cavs game.

If the Suns go 8-8 for the month of December we might end up with one of the best record in the league considering the rest of the schedule is slightly easier.

I'll be at the Denver game. When I bought the tickets I didn't realize that it was on the second night of a back to back after playing orlando, or I would have gone on February 3rd instead. Whoops?

Tough month...

I'd be happy to see them come out at 8-8, they would still be 11 games above .500 at 22-11, any more wins would be an added bonus.
