He's not the same player and wont have much of an impact anyway, would make an interesting story line for the NBA though...

He may not be the Raja of old but that doesn't change the fact that it'll still hurt to see him in a silver and black jersey.

I pray this doesn't happen.
We have a game in April against SA and I don't want to see Pop play Raja just to further mind F"*k us. :(

Haha If Raja pulls that off he deserves more than the ring of honor.

Who cares it's called a buisness. He doesn't have much left anyway, we got all we could out of him.

I'd hate to see him in a Spurs uni but at the same time, he deserves to play on a contender. If he ends up in silver and black, and we're out of the running, I might have to root for the Spurs. I love the guy.

If he came back to Phoenix imagine the ovation he'd get when he checked in for the first time. It'd be insane. He was such a warrior for us and belongs in this system with us and would add toughness. He's not the same player not as good but just for sentimental value I'd love to see him on our team again.

On the spurs?

I'd puke, gouge my eyes out, tear my hair out then my heart out and refuse to live any longer.

Raja in a spurs uni is just unpatriotic. The spurs should be convicted of terrorism if they hire bell. I mean they're whole team is foreign. What usa players aren't good enough for you a holes?

Probably not, given our current staff of role players.

The Spurs WOULD go after Raja. Ugh I couldn't stand him in a Spurs uni no matter how past his prime he is :(

It's cool to see Raja is still a fan favorite. All these fans saying "don't go Raja, noooooooo" it makes me smile. Good work Suns fans... good work.

What hurts more is that we KNOW he's going to play hard no matter where he's at. It sucks to see Marion in a Dallas uniform, seeing Raja in a Spurs uniform would kill me.

I could NEVER root for the Spurs. I would never accuse anyone who did of being a bad fan, but if we're out of the running I would always be gunning for an EC team like the Magic or Bulls. Or a non-rival western conference team like the Thunder.

But yeah, Magic are my second team. I used to love watching that team back in the day, and I love them now because they have the best shooter ever to play basketball - and he doesn't even start ;)

In one of the other threads I proposed a Stat trade to GS that brings Raja back ... then we resign him at vet min and after that he joins the staff as a D coach. Raja coaching our young guys would be perfect.
In that trade we do have to take maggette, only way I could swing it. We also get Brandan Wright, Turiaf and unload Tuck. Then we waive Griff later.

Raja as our defensive coach would be incredible.
