I'm curious to see what he says. I'll be buying the book and letting you all know what it says in a few weeks as well. Anyone else interested here?

I'll definitely be picking his book as well whenever it does get published. I'm not sure if I'll be watching the show tonight, but I might end up DVR'ing it.

David Stern should be shaking in his booties. Hopefully tonight actually makes in impact on how the NBA does things.

Excerpts from his book were already leaked.

I doubt anything new or ground breaking will be revealed- although I hope otherwise. There will definitely be more light shed on the situation though.

I hope this leads to more transparency with the refs which is something that a lot of us have wanted for a long time now.

Donaghy is full of crap. He's gonna be making up stuff left and right, throwing people under the bus - he has nothing to lose and he's just loving the publicity

I know why read his book if its going to be 50/50. Half is true and half are lies. So by reading his book, some information will be obvious to pick out but other will not.

It's gonna be worth a read even though a lot of stuff are going to be exaggerated, but would probably affirm a lot of other stuff that most of us are suspicious of anyway. So in the end, we'll probably come out with nothing new.

Please tell me why you think he has the least bit of incentive to lie. He already was convicted, jailed, even assaulted. He has nothing to prove, and no benefit from lying here. The public hates him, he is going to tell the truth, because making crap up will just be a waste of time for him. If he makes a book full of lies no one will buy it, his only goal here is profit, and you dont profit from writing a book of lies. Ask Sarah Pailin....

You have a point. I guess the only way to win back *some* of the public's approval is to tell them what we wanna know.

The dude got pinched by wise-guys because his High School bud blabbed....Was very sincere... but little to no new info. Mentioned the fLakes sent a tape in to Stearn with 25 uncalled fouls on Kobe... of which Donaghy said 22 were... the league then notified the Refs of this. He said he made a bundle betting on the Lakes shortly there after. Said he never made had to make calls to cover his bets. His inside game time info from refs was good enough for him to hit 75-80%. The FBI agreed with him.... woopee. They showed a clip of him toss GPopv in the 1st Q, when he had $$ on that game. No clip of the Suns/Spurs late whistling debacle. Could be an interesting read. He was very composed and had well thought out answers... of course, he did have time to rehearse in court.

The NBA offices refused to comment.

But he also has nothing to lose...

Completely disagree. People don't want to read a book about how this guy was wrongfully accused or the offense wasn't as bad as it sounds. He's already public enemy number one. People want gossip. They want a conspiracy theory. The same way this whole issue has snowballed with the press, everyone is wondering just how far-reaching the whole scam was.

I guess an easier way to put it is people don't want to read the sob story of someone who DID actually bet on games.

And if you're thinking he has no reason to lie, realize that he is a celebrity now and whoever he throws under the bus makes him look better and brings more attention to him.

The Book would sell volumes if he just simply wrote on how he did it and how he was so succesful at doing it. He didn't need to throw anybody under the bus to sell copies of his book. With that in mind, I find "some" truth in what he is saying.
