Don't like this matchup at all
DAL has two en masse rebounders in Gooden and Dampier - 3 if you count Trix
DAL 126
PHX 119
Terry, Dirk - ALWAYS kill us

Naw. Marion has been playing like garbage as of late. Getting no points or boards actually. Drew Gooden is a joke and I think Amare will hold down the glass against him. . . Coming off that 21 rebound game I have a bit more faith in Amare. Damps is the only rebounding threat from them. Watch for Nash and Dirk to have huge games. I think JRich/Hill will hold down Terry well also.
Suns-111
Mavs-102

He might play like garbage as of late but against his former team watch him torch us.

Nice game thread.
I dunno about this one, I just don't have a good feeling about it. Barbs usually plays great against the Mavs but since he's not playing it'll be tough to find scoring off the bench.
Edit: Is SWEET LOU playing?

I hope Sweet Lou plays. He brings hustle to this team and plus it will be a good b-day treat if does good.

I have a feeling the Suns lose this one, but in a close game.
Mavs 109
Suns 103

Suns don't lose close games. That being said, either a blowout by the Mavs or the Suns win a close call.
Suns-114
Mavs-108

i do. mavs dont have the perimeter length (/depth) w/out howard to pull the same moves on us that everyone else has been doing since the knicks. also their bigs are just slow enough to still get torched by a (slightly) aging nash. suns offense, for better or for worse, will not be challeneged as much in this game as it has in recent games, even tho dallas is a pretty good defensive team.
also, dallas is just the worst team ever, so that is in the suns favor (please see 'teams you absolutely cant stand' thread for more details about this).
marion will have a monster game because he is a max contract player. but it wont be enough.
suns 108 mavs 102 go suns

Nice choice putting Cavs/Grizzlies on NBATV over this game, idiots.

I'm actually glad, sorry!
Because NBATV games are THE ONLY games I can't watch - seeing as how I can obviously see the ESPN/TNT games AND the league pass broadband games - but damn NBATV games are blacked out by league pass.

I confess I have no idea who wins tonight - we could come out like a team on a mission after the two beatings we took (Sacto doesn't count) or we pull our vanishing act. Remember the game of the Year last spring, when we still had a n outside shot at passing the mavs to make the playoffs? One of the great El Foldo performances of our time.
I think Dallas is a better team this year, but so are we.
Cautiously and with no real confidence I say PHX 113/Mavs 108

I think the losing continues here tonight. We're reeling but I think it'll be a close game throughout. I hope I'm wrong though because a bounce back game would be really nice here.

I'd start with a lineup of:
Nash
Frye
Amundson
Studs
J_Rich

We will write this one off as another ... 'It seems like we have been on the road forever' defeat.
Suns lose in a close one... and the murmurs begin.
Side bet ???? Who has more assists Nash or Kidd ? I'd say the line would be Nash -2.5
I'll be viewing and spewing

I love this match up for the Suns. No more having to worry about Frye getting punked in the paint on every possession like in LA and Cleveland. I really hope Amundson is back, because this is definitely a game where bench production will be key.
A much needed day off should bring back the Suns that beat the Celtics at home this year.
Suns 114
Mavs 110
