The trade is Jason Richardson and Robin Lopez for John Salmons and Brad Miller (contract expiring)

I doubt they give up an expiring since they are one of teams looking towards 2010 probably. Maybe it would work if Miller was replaced with Deng.

Sort of but that's a good point you brought up because people might get the wrong idea that it's a bad thing or something. I have gay friends and have attended a few gay pride parades in the past (I'm straight by the way, going to one of those events doesn't mean someones gay. Alot of straight and bisexual people attend them also). So yeah the sig is just all in good fun

You need to post the link with the trade ID, not the link that's in your address bar

I'd do that in a minute but the Bulls wouldn't

That's a decent trade. I'd rather get TT out of it though.

Is this just for the Miller expiring? Because Salmons is godawful.

I actually wouldnt do this Salmons is palying pretty terrible and even though I like Miller Lopez is a young part of our future right now and I dont wanna throw away a future piece (backup big at least), a superior SG, and hurt our chemistry for a worse SG, an upgraded backup big, and more capspace which we wont be spent on something better than a jason richardson expiring.

Actually this trade is not terrible. The more and more the year goes, the more and more the teams that were "banking" on getting in on the FA class this year get scared. I don't foresee a lot happening in terms of blockbuster FA signings and such. So teams will get desperate (the Bulls already are) and pull a trigger to get at least SOMETHING rather than losing everything they have for nothing.

I think there are better deals out there, but I see a number of teams doing trades like this because they know the FA's just won't really be there.

Salmons is in the wrong system and playing way below his level, he's not bad.

I still probably wouldn't do this trade though, JRich is better and I'd rather keep RoLo for his potential than get Miller, even if he is an expiring.

You guys are really underrating Salmons. Did you see him last year in the playoffs? The guy can easily score 20 pts and also defend like 100 times better than JRich.

Another possible trade to explore is getting Tyson Chandler since the center position is our weakest. Need his defensive presence.

Salmons did awesome last season, but ask Bulls fans...he kind of blows this season.

And we could have gotten Chandler if we wanted to, but word on the street was that he wasn't healthy enough to be effective. He's underwhelmed in Charlotte so far. I like the idea of healthy Tyson next to Amare, but if he's not healthy, no thanks.

I'd rather have Ben Gordon over John Salmons, but the Bulls were completely idiots and let him go and now they're back to being completely mediocre.
