Post#1 » by oxford Knolls » Sun Dec 20, 2009 3:44 am

I'm going to try my hand at a trade that I think will help out three teams.

Wiz trade
Antawn Jamison
Fabricio Oberto
Caron Butler

Wiz get
Amare Stoudemire
Francisco Elson

Milwaukee trade
Luke Ridnour
Francisco Elson

Milwaukee get
Caron Butler

Suns trade
Amare Stoudemire

Suns get

We're not giving up Amare for Jamison and garbage. You gotta at least throw us your first. Or give us Butler

Milwaukee's front office will laugh their asses off for the rest of the season if they were to get Caron for nothing. That'd be as big of a steal as LA getting Gasol.

Stat is a top 5 PF in the league. Why would we trade him?

Because he doesn't play defense, is a sporadic rebounder, can easily be labeled as injury prone, and has an expiring contract that he will most likely not be renewing.

Those are some pretty damn good reasons.

But... if he continues playing like he has been over the past few games- I would definitely not be upset if we resigned him.

He's starting to shape up. He's playing defense, and rebounding. After 20 or so games I think he's getting back into his rhythm. I expect it to continue. If it doesn't, then we consider our options.

The trade doesn't make much sense at all. If you could, spend more time thinking of a trade from every angle and need before you post it.

How do the Suns only get Antawn Jamison for Amare Stoudemire? Weren't the Suns and Wizards talking over the off-season and the most likely trade scenario was Amare for Antawn Jamison, the number 5 (or 6 (don't remember which they had)) pick? Even that wasn't enough, maybe if they also included Nick Young, I might consider it.

At the least we get McGee in the package ...

I like Luke since Seattle, but do we need another PG? It would free Dragic to play with Nash more often, and I think that could be a JWest/Goodrich type combo.
