Sean Livingston is now available !

We could use him as a 3rd string PG/SG could we not??? :dontknow:

After watching us struggle having Barbosa out and Jrich not fully recovered, i think this would be a good move to help add some play making ability off the deep deep bench. Anyone else think this could help us a little???

I think he's done, he's averaging 1 point and a little over 1 assist in 13 minutes of play on the season. At this point giving an undrafted rookie a chance to play would be better.

He killed us in the playoffs a few years back. Thought he was gonna be a super-star. Would rather go after someone who could start at SG, cheap contract and plays some perimeter D. Dahntay Jones, Aaron Afflalo, John Salmons, Charlie Bell, Raja Bell, Larry Hughes, Kirk Hinrich, Udoka, Martell Webster, Jamal Crawford, Mo Evans, Kyle Korver and Michael Finley.

Harpring is done.

Livingston is a low-risk high-reward guy, but we don't have the roster space nor the $$$ to bring him in.

He's not a bad insurance policy for the positions you mentioned, but Barbosa is back on Xmas. I'd rather them cut Griffin, and get us another big man.

Ideally we should be targeting a big man, but Livingston isn't a bad guy to bring in. I know our medical staff ain't God but they are pretty much as close as it gets, so if anyone can bring Livingston back, it's them.

Ahem, its spelled Shaun Livingston. :)
Yeah, wouldn't mind taking him. Its not like he is locked for the next three to four years. Could be worth something. Cut Taylor now.

Yeh, once Barbosa comes back, and J-Rich heals properly, we should be ok at that spot. Ideally, we need a big man with some lost post moves to help out more.

I really liked Shaun as a player back before that devastating knee injury. I'd love to see him succeed, but I don't think he has it anymore, on an NBA level.

I've always liked him as well, but that was one devestating injury. I do wonder though if since he lost his athletic ability, if he would ever be able to develope into a Magic Johnson type player. He has great court vision and great passing ability. He may not be able to blow past defenders anymore but I think he can still be a very good PG, well depending on how much he has recovered from that injury. AND NO I'M NOT COMPARING HIM TO MAGIC JOHNSON, THAT WAS JUST A REFERENCE TO WHAT TYPE OF NON ALTHLETIC PLAYER HE CAN TRY TO BECOME.

How many teams have to give up on him before we realize that he's done..:(

As it was already mentioned, our medical staff could be used here. If Livingston still has a chance, it's here.

We can bring him for cheap and use his ballhandling and ability to create offense when our bench offense is give-it-to-Barbosa-and-let-him-force-shots (if he's healthy at the moment). Don't know how it would affect Dragic though. Even if it would be a bust, there's at least a chance that Livingston can contribute something while there's zero chance of Taylor Griffin contributing anything.

lol if we can revive him, then sure. Bender's comeback was so out of nowhere that now I'm open to stuff like this.

I read a recent invu with him and he was very upfront and realistic about what he can do and can't do - he's re-learning the game to some extent as he no longer has the explosiveness he did before, but he still has size and smarts. He'll be very useful to some team - don't see how it would be us, though.

We need a slightly larger CPowell

I'm only open to this if we somehow trade J-Rich, cuz we already have four guards who need to play regular mins. Maybe trade J-Rich for a big, Dalembert/AK-47/Brad Miller ?

AK is not a big and i would cry if we trade for Dalembert, I can't stand watching him.

We could trade Frye straight up for Gortat, but it's not gonna happen because it will be additional 4.5 million to pay, make it 9 million with tax. Josh Boone wouldn't be bad.

Or let's get Ben Wallace :D
