Mike is one stubborn guy and taking on the Knicks job is the worst situation he could have gotten into. He also seems to have one heck of a ego as well.

What a cr*p article. Mike D is a continual whipping boy for NY, not the fact that the organization made stupid decisions and most of the players are cr*p. He is doing well with what he has. I don't know why people keep bringing up Chicago. Reinsdorf basically told Mike to do it his way or go somewhere else. What did Mike D, do? Exactly that. He left Phoenix because of that. I think its a bunch of gossip blown out of proportion.

Best coach in the NBA, by far. He really cares about losing\winning. If it wasn't for him, we wouldn't be who we are.

I don't blame MD for not playing Nate. I hate the guy's game and not too impressed with his act either.
Coaching the Knicks, with that cast of players and the constraints of the situation is no picnic, then add in that it's NYC with how many papers all competing and desperate for hot issues and perfectly willing to manufacture them to sell papers.
He knew he was in for this, though. he'll get at least until the end of next season.

I just want to see this team rebuild, get some young players and build a solid core to compete in the future. The same can be said about Amare, J-Rich, etc also.
