"It'd be better if we could hold teams off but we're doing just fine," Nash said after his fourth 30-point game this season. "We were picked to not make the playoffs. For us to have 20-plus wins at this point, we should all be satisfied and just keep building and not put too much pressure on ourselves. When the expectations and pressure rise, it can become a burden and it can be come unrealistic."
-Steve Nash
I wouldn't say losing 15-18-20 point leads is considered "doing just fine" but according to Nash it is. He also mentions just "because the Suns weren't picked to make the playoffs" they don't or shouldn't have heavy expectations? Hello Steve, Sarver just gave you a huge extention along with your buddy Hill I'm pretty sure they want you to compete for a playoff spot! So in other words he's basically doesn't care if the Suns blow leads, doesn't care if this team makes the playoffs and basically is saying all he does is want to have fun on the basketball court.
What's wrong with this guy? Am I the only Suns fan who finds this insane? Can you imagine any "superstar" in the league saying what he said? He's basically giving the finger to all Suns fans.
