WOW just unbelievable...

Post#1 » by SunsGorilla » Thu Jan 14, 2010 2:38 am

This team is such an embarrassment to basketball. How can you continue to go up 20 or more points and then lose the lead. This time they lost the game! A major trade needs to happen and a coaching change. This is just ridiculous!

Well, they're not the worst -- but they should be winning games like this. To have a 24 point lead, and then lose by 8 -- a 32 point swing -- there is something immensely wrong.
The Phoenix Suns - 54-28. Projected Record: 54-28 3rd Seed

The Phoenix Suns - 2010-2011 Projected Record: 30-52 3rd lottery pick.

This team is soon going to be known as everyones bitch around the league and be known as a punching bag. If you give up 20 + point leads to teams like the Bucks and Pacers there are probably 25 or so better teams in the league or better yet when they are down or it's a close game they can't even win. It's just a joke, hopefully management makes a trade or something, bring in some defense.

Lopez should start so guys like Hibbert don't dominate. Frye would be a good back-up Center. Package Barbosa + Hill or J-Rich or something, just so we have an excuse why things are going wrong. Teams make trades just to shake things up all time. DO IT!!!

If this place was the Knicks right now, statisback would be Marbury - estranged and ultimately waived.

I love the knee jerk reactions. Yes, you cant let go a lead like this and lose. This is a shame by all means. But honestly, not many thought this team was going to make the playoffs and they have acceded expectations thus far. The stupedist thing the suns could do is just pull a trade for the sake of it.

Plus, HIbbert owned D12 last week. The guy is big and is skilled.

Barbosa should have been traded A LONG TIME AGO when his stock as high. I don't know who would want that useless POS now.

The team desperately needs a trade by the deadline.

Can someone maybe figure out how many games it is now in a row that the Suns have been up by 15+ only to see the lead cut to three or less? I can remember as far back as the Spurs game where they were up by 20+ and the lead was cut to 1.

Oh, now you know who he (you) is and can spell his (your) name correctly. Sorry it is just too obvious. Actually to me, I saw it in one of your first posts, I just didn't know you were waived. I just hope the mods pick up on it, and you don't ruin this board like you did the ESPN board. :(

You have tells in your posts that an observant person can catch. Nice try though, but you should have waited a month or so before you started a thread. I am surprised you didn't chime in on the village idiot thread.

You know what is funny to me, whenever a team is doing bad people want to trade away the whole team, what makes you think that the people we trade for or that if there is a new coach that things will change right away... Gentry is doing ok this season not the best but we look WAY better at this point of the season than we did last year. We will make the playoffs and then after this season we can look into trading some people. I have never agreed in making a huge trade in the middle of the season, I don't think the success rate is or has been that good. So why don't people just be patient and let the people who actually play the game do what they do.
